Hi! I’m Cynthia—lifelong dog lover, rescue mama to 4 amazing pups, and your go-to sitter for high-quality, heart-centered pet care. 🐾 Growing up surrounded by animals, especially dogs, I’ve never known life without a pack. From tiny terriers to big lovable goofballs, I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities—and I understand exactly what it takes to help each one feel safe, relaxed, and totally at home. My husband and I live on a spacious, fully fenced 4-acre country property just outside Ancaster. It’s like a mini doggy paradise—tons of room to explore, play, and breathe in that fresh country air. 🌿 Our home is thoughtfully set up for comfort and safety. I have a gated main floor to keep our friendly resident dogs separate from guest pups when needed, and each visiting dog gets their own cozy space in our home. Supervision and personalized care are a must for me—every dog is treated like part of the family. Whether your dog is the playful type or just wants to chill and soak up the love, I’ve got the experience, space, and heart to meet them where they’re at. I know how important it is to leave your pup with someone you trust, and I don’t take that lightly. Maude had a great stay with Cynthia & Dave! The property is huge and fenced so Maude was happy that she got to roam around and follow Dave wherever he went. They sent lots of photos and gave regular updates which we really appreciated.
Our pup had a great time with Cynthia and Dave! He is shy at first but they welcomed him and got comfortable and had fun very quickly! We couldn't be happier. They made sure our dog had plenty of time outside and was well cared for.
Cynthia and David took great care of our goldendoodle Millie! She had so much space to run and play that we knew she would have a good stay. The communication was awesome and we received several updates and photos throughout her stay to reassure us she was enjoying her time and in good hands! Would definitely recommend Cynthia and David!

Cynthia and Dave were wonderful dog sitters for our Chocolate lab Cooper. They sent lots of updates ans photos, and were very prompt with their communication. Pick up and drop off were seamless and Coop seemed to really enjoy his stay with them. Will definitely book with them again :)

Schedule
I work from home and run my own business, so my schedule is super flexible—which means your pup will get plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My partner is also home full-time, so there’s always someone around to give love, supervision, and belly rubs. 🐾 We currently have 4 of our own rescue dogs, so daily pet care is already a big (and joyful!) part of our routine.

Guest dogs enjoy our large, fenced backyard for safe, supervised play—either on leash or free to explore, depending on their needs. Inside, we use baby gates and separate spaces to keep pups safe and comfortable, with individual areas for quiet time, feeding, or crate rest if needed. We even have a cozy outbuilding that dogs love—it's like their own private retreat! Every dog is different, and we’re all about creating a calm, personalized environment. If your pup has special needs or sensitivities, just let me know—we’re happy to accommodate.

A typical day
A typical day here is all about fresh air, play, and plenty of love! Our guests get lots of supervised yard time to roam, sniff, and explore—including our famous sand pit, which is a total hit for digging and play. 🐾 Outdoor time and treat breaks are sprinkled throughout the day, and there’s always someone home to give your pup attention—my partner Dave is here full time and has a calming presence that dogs really respond to. It’s not long before they’re lounging around with him like they’ve known him forever. Whether your pup loves adventure or just wants to chill, we make sure their day is balanced, fun, and full of care.

- Before your pup’s stay, I’d love to know a few key things to make sure they have the best experience possible: What are their likes and dislikes? (Toys? People? Other dogs?) Are they high-energy or more of a couch potato? How’s their recall? (On a scale of 1–10!) Are they social with other dogs, or do they prefer their own space? The more I know upfront, the better I can tailor their stay to match their vibe and keep them happy, safe, and stress-free. 💕🐾
