This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, exercise, administering medications if needed, and providing plenty of attention and affection. In a client's home, I respect the pet's environment and maintain their schedule while keeping owners updated with photos and messages. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, safe, and pet-friendly space with close supervision, regular potty breaks, exercise, and lots of love and companionship. My priority is ensuring every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for.

Before caring for a pet, I like to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, allergies or medical conditions, medications, personality, energy level, favorite activities, and any fears or triggers. I also ask how they interact with other dogs and people, whether they're crate-trained, house-trained, or have any behavioral quirks. Knowing their veterinarian's information, emergency contacts, and any house rules helps me provide safe, personalized care and keep them as comfortable as possible while their family is away.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs engaged and happy! Depending on their age and energy level, we go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, enjoy puzzle toys and treat games, practice basic commands with positive reinforcement, and spend plenty of time cuddling and relaxing. If they enjoy socializing, I can also take them to a dog park (with the owner's permission). I always make sure they have fresh water, stick to their normal feeding schedule, and give them lots of love and attention so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away.

We had a wonderful experience! Communication was excellent, and she responded to every message very quickly. She truly cared for our Leo and treated him with so much love. She also sent us lots of photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We could tell Leo was happy and well taken care of. This was my first time boarding my Brooklyn outside of the big-brand stores, and I was nervous at first. Cynthia was friendly, greeted us with a smile, and was very attentive to the quirks I mentioned about Brooklyn. The overnight stay went well. I’d happily work with her again.
