At Cynthia’s Canine Retreat, your pup is part of the family! As of Tuesday, June 24, 2025, we’re transitioning to a new care schedule to continue offering safe, loving, and consistent boarding while I work. During weekdays: 🐾 My husband is home and caring for the dogs until 12pm. 🐾 After that, my dad (GrandPaw to all the furry babies that meet him) comes by to provide outdoor time, check ins, and make sure everyone is settled and comfortable. 🐾 I return in the late afternoon to handle evening playtime, dinner, and the bedtime routine. Weekends: I’m home all day unless I need to step out for a quick errand but your dog’s care and comfort always remain the priority. We’re still offering the same high quality, personalized attention in a home based setting, just with a slightly adjusted schedule to keep everything running smoothly. 🐶💕

I have a fully fenced in yard, giving your pup plenty of space to play safely. We’ve also modified our garage to be a cozy, climate controlled space with an AC unit where kennels are kept. This is where your fur kiddo and our other furry guests stay when we’re not home. All pets in our care receive dedicated one-on-one time, and we slowly introduce new guests to ensure a calm and friendly environment, helping prevent any issues with aggression or anxiety. Please Note: For the safety of all pets and the privacy of my home, I do not offer full home tours. Meet and greets are conducted on a one-on-one basis in a designated area to ensure a calm introduction and give you peace of mind. I’m always happy to answer questions about my setup and can provide photos of where your pet will be staying. Thank you for understanding and respecting these boundaries as I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment for every guest.

If your dog has any special needs, please let me know! I want to ensure your pup feels happy and comfortable while you’re away. I have a soft spot for smaller dogs, but I think big dogs are just as sweet and loving. I’ll do my best to send pictures, but rest assured, I’ll keep you updated with regular communication.
A typical day
Dogs are just like kids they need fun and adventure! I love taking my pups out to the yard to run and play, and we’re always up for a trip to the park to stroll the trails and sniff out new sights and smells!

Hi, I’m Cynthia! I grew up with a loving Yorkie named Marley, and now I have three amazing dogs of my own Blanca, a sweet and lazy Pitbull; Stitch, a friendly little Yorkie who loves making new friends; and Casper, my loyal Husky and total mommy’s boy. I absolutely adore dogs and treat every pup like part of the family. What You Can Expect From walks and playtime to cuddles and quiet movie nights, I’ll make sure your dog feels loved, safe, and comfortable. I’m happy to follow any special instructions and provide a calm, caring environment. I also have extra kennels available just reach out to confirm availability in case you need to bring your own.
