Pet care experience

Doggy Daycare in MP

I come from a family with a history of pets. My father was a veterinarian so we had dogs, cats, birds, lizards…and more. I also fostered dogs for 3-4 years when I first moved to Charleston.

Schedule

I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive regular potty breaks, play sessions, enrichment activities, fresh water, and lots of affection. Whether your pup enjoys playing, exploring the yard, or simply relaxing with people nearby, I’ll make sure they have a fun, safe, and comfortable day.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play, along with a doggy pool for cooling off on warm days. My friendly and energetic dog, Todd, loves meeting new friends and makes a great playmate for dogs who enjoy socializing. For dogs who prefer their own space or need downtime, I have crates in multiple sizes available if requested. I’ll always follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special routines so your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

Pets

A typical day

Every dog is different, so I tailor the day to their personality and energy level. A typical day includes outdoor playtime in the fenced yard, games like fetch or tug, sniffing and exploring, enrichment activities, regular potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of cuddle time and positive attention. On hot days, dogs can splash in the doggy pool, and between activities they’ll have opportunities to relax indoors in a comfortable, climate-controlled home. My goal is for every dog to head home happy, exercised, and excited to come back.

Before your dog’s stay, I’d love to learn about their personality, daily routine, and any special needs. Please let me know about their energy level, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, fears, commands they know, and how they interact with other dogs and people. If there are any behaviors you’re working on or situations that make your dog uncomfortable, sharing that information helps me provide the safest, most enjoyable experience possible. The more I know, the better I can make your pet feel right at home.
