I work in person twice a week at UIC but work from home the rest of the week in Andersonville. I make my own schedule and my work is quite flexible, so I'll be available to stop by to see your babies whenever needed! My Saturdays and Sundays are also wide open.

A typical day
In my day to day, I love going for walks and biking around the city, so I’ll be ready to take your pet on an adventure once I arrive. We’ll go for a walk if I’m looking out for your dog, or we’ll play around with toys and cuddle on the couch if I’m taking care of your cat. I know my pets love their treats and are ready to eat on a schedule, so I’ll be ready to feed them when the time is right.

Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Curtis and I am a Texas native who has lived in Chicago for the last 6.5 years! I have owned pets my entire life, my mom owning a cat before I was born, and we adopted Hayley, an energetic Yorkie, into our family in 2006. I have experience walking, cleaning, and playing with both cats and dogs, and have a love for both! Hayley required heart medication and both her and our cat lived into their older years, so I have familiarity with taking care of elderly pets as well. Currently I own two cats and they are my entire world. Oliver is 7 and Willow is 5. Oliver is low energy but incredibly cuddly and Willow is shy but incredibly energetic when she sees a toy she loves.

I would totally trust Curtis again with my cat! He was happy to prepare her food & exactly supplements exactly the way she’s used to. My cat can get nervous when I’m away, but I think she must have been very comforted by Curtis’s visits & demeanor because she seemed less distraught than I expected when I made it home! He also managed to get some cute & funny photos of her.
Curtis took great care of my cats, he was reliable, communicative, and my cats were clearly happy and well looked after. Highly recommend!
Rumpus has been in Curtis’s care multiple times now, and the fact that our lazy little pug is never quite as excited to see us when we get home says everything. He’s clearly comfortable, well looked after, and probably a little sad the hang is over. Curtis is our go-to and we’ll keep coming back.
Curtis was wonderful! Always sent pictures of my babies, and told me what he did for them :)
