Pet care experience

Fun loving dog sitter

Hi, my name is Crystal. I’ve had a lifelong passion for animals and have cared for a wide variety of species, including dogs, cats, small mammals, and exotics. I am currently a Veterinary Technician with four years of experience working in a busy emergency animal hospital in Maryland, and I am actively pursuing my registration to become a licensed technician. My background in emergency medicine allows me to provide a higher level of care than the average pet sitter. I am experienced in administering medications (including oral, injectable, and topical), and I am comfortable caring for pets with medical conditions such as diabetes, seizures, and other chronic or special needs. I understand how important it is to recognize subtle changes in behavior or health, and I prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Whether your pet needs quick drop-in visits, medication administration, or attentive care while you’re away, I aim to provide reliable, compassionate service so you can have peace of mind. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and routine to ensure they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible in your absence. Availability I currently work Thursday through Saturday as a Veterinary Technician at a local emergency animal hospital. I offer flexible drop-in visits Sunday through Wednesday and will do my best to accommodate your schedule and your pet’s needs. Please feel free to reach out with specific dates or requests.

Crystal truly went above and beyond when caring for our two cats while we were in Europe. She was consistent in timing, gave them lots of love and attention in addition to basic needs like food and litter, and sent us photos of them every single day. She also let us know about little details, like some pesky gnats that invaded our kitchen. We felt so grateful to have someone regularly checking on our babies while we were far away! We would book her again in a heartbeat. You should too!

Crystal is a wonderful caregiver! She and our dog hit it off immediately — Crystal’s easygoing manner and attentive kindness put Mishka right at ease. Their first walk went beautifully and Crystal left us great comments and an adorable photo that put my mind at ease about being stuck late at work! We will definitely call on her again and look forward to working together in the future.

Hazelnut absolutely loves her time at Crystal’s house! Hazel loves to play with Crystal’s fur babies and she gets spoiled with cuddles. We don’t hesitate for a moment to leave Hazel with Crystal. She’s truly a second home for Hazel! I’d highly recommend her to anyone!

My dog loved Crystal! I have an elderly dog (15 years old) so I am very wary about who watches her. I had zero doubts my pup would be in good hands with Crystal. She was walked and cared for with the utmost love and compassion. It’s clear Crystal has a love for animals. I’d recommend Crystal to anyone needing care for their pet.

Crystal is absolutely wonderful! She takes care of my 120lb yellow lab Hank! She is caring, loving, responsible, and punctual! Plus I get the best pictures when shes caring for my pet. If I didnt know any better he may actually like her more then me! Highly recommend whether it be for a short walk, an over night visit, or to help watch your fur baby for a long vacation! Shes amazing!
