Schedule
I’m currently working part time, 3 days a week which gives me a lot of flexibility to work other jobs on the days I have off. I tend to spend a lot of time at home so it is convenient to dog sit at home as well.

Safety, trust & environment
If pet sitting at my house I tend to let the dog tone the house and get a sense of belonging before getting situated. Then I go as follows with their routine. I live in a neighborhood with many dog parks around so your dog will be guaranteed a walk at least every 1-2 hours. If dog sitting at home I like to greet myself to the pet before anything else so they can smell me and get used to my scent. Afterwards I like to check for any dog parts in the area before getting into the routine that is needed for the day.
Pets
A typical day
I usually find that dogs enjoy open areas where they can run around and get their zoomies out. I often take dogs I care for to an open dog park or a dog beach and afterwards I reward them with a pup treat.
