Information Crystal N. would like to know about your pet

I have no breed-restrictions or preferences. I love all of breeds, young and old. All I ask is for you to tell me the basics: Are they sensitive about being petted on their back?, Do they not like long walks?, Are they food aggressive?, etc. Questions like these will help me better assess how to care for your pup, while making sure that they're comfortable with me.

A typical day

When I’m dog sitting, there is always a lot of playtime and cuddling involved! With each new client, I'll do my research on parks and walking routes in the area. In the morning, we’ll go on a quick walk outside to go potty before coming in for breakfast. In the afternoon, we’ll head outside again and have some serious playtime. I love throwing the ball and running with pups. Some dogs are not very keen on exercise, and if this is the case, I’ll gladly oblige to some indoor snuggling. In the evening, we’ll usually head outside again for another walk, followed by another meal (depending on your pet’s eating schedule). I typically give another potty break before we head to bed, just in case. At bedtime, I’ll be cuddled up with your pup, ready to get some Z’s.

Full-time Compassionate Pet Sitter!

Pet care experience

Hi there. I’m Crystal, an avid and compassionate pet sitter with a love for all furry creatures. I have over seven years of experience caring for pets. I’ve worked at several doggie daycares and vet clinics where I learned how to administer pet medications, care for senior and special-needs dogs, and how to properly attend to pet anxieties. I grew up in a house with five dogs. I got a taste of the petcare field with my first job at Camp Bow Wow in Las Vegas where I learned a wide range of skills including how to break up a dog fight and administer CPR on an animal. I left Camp Bow Wow to start my own pet sitting business, which I ran for over 5 years. At this job, I had the chance to sit and care for some of the best animals, including Golden Retriever puppies, pigs, and geckos. I moved to Georgia in May with my husband and my beautiful dog, Athena, my rabbit, and our three cats. Shortly after our move, I started a new job at a local veterinarian clinic as a vet tech. I actually left this job at the end of December to start my own pet sitting business yet again. Currently, I volunteer at Furkids Animal Rescue where I get to play and cuddle with lots of cats. The volunteer work is very rewarding and I love that it gives me a chance to give back to the animal community. I love coming home from a long day at work and being greeted by wagging tails and happy barks of loving dogs. Dogs are just perfect. I honestly believe that I have the best job in the world caring for pets. As a dog owner, I know that leaving your pup in the care of someone else can be tough. I care for my client's pets as if they were my own. I stay in constant contact with my clients and always make sure to ask if they'd like daily updates and/or photos sent. With experience caring for many types of animals, I will gladly take care of any and every pet a client has.

Crystal was wonderful with Ernie and Daisy! She was conscientious, on time, clean, and clearly a true dog lover. Daisy can be a little nervous with new people, but she warmed up to Crystal just fine, which says a lot. Crystal sent photo updates, made us feel comfortable while we were away, and we’d definitely book her again. Highly recommend!
