For boarding clients: I live with my husband, our 5 year old son and my mother. I will be the primary caregiver for your pet(s) but on occasions where I have to leave the house for a short period of time (almost always 2 hours or less) for things such as: doctors appointments, getting groceries, driving my son to/from school, provide drop ins for other clients, etc., my family will be around and are able to help provide care (things such as feeding (if there are no special diet requirements), potty breaks, and of course playing with/cuddling pets) and will also handle drop off/pick ups on occasions I need to be out of the house so you will not have to wait on me or adjust your drop off/pick up times. At least one of us (my mom, my husband and/or myself) will almost always be at home so your pet(s) will be provided with constant care at almost all times. I do ask that all pets be okay with small children. If your pet has never been around small children, this can be addressed at a meet and greet. My son and your pet(s) will never be left alone together unsupervised. Since I do have to take my son to/from school on weekdays and run errands on occasion, as well as often having at least one drop-in scheduled a day, in order for all of my clients to receive timely care, drop off and pick up times are by appointment only. I do require all drop off/pick up times to be within a one hour window. If your plans change and you are no longer able to drop off/pick up your pet(s) during that window, a new appointment can be made at a time that works for us both. After discussing the change, I will modify the booking to reflect the change in times and additional payment, if applicable. All modifications will need to be accepted before drop off/pick up. I will always do my best to accommodate you and your pets needs! For all bookings: Upon booking, please provide the name and phone number of a local emergency contact, as well as the name, phone number and address of your veterinarian's office. Please have a credit/debit card on file with them prior to the start of our booking in the event I need to bring your pet in. Unless it is a life or death situation and your pet needs immediate care, I will always communicate with you before bringing your pet in unless you are in a place without service/I cannot get ahold of you, in which case I will reach out to your emergency contact. I have never had a pet experience a medical emergency under my care but I know anything can happen and I like to be prepared just in case.

A typical day involves playing together, hanging around outside in my backyard enjoying the fresh air, going on a walk and get their energy out, or just be cuddled up on the couch binge watching Netflix. My son also really enjoys playing with dogs and cats and loves to run around with/pet them. *While my backyard is not fenced in, I do have a 20ft chain leash staked into the ground to attach to dogs' collars/harnesses so they have the option to run around my yard carefree when the weather is nice. However, dogs will never be left outside unsupervised. I or a member of my family will be outside with them at all times to ensure their utmost safety. Dogs will only go on this leash with previously expressed permission from pet parents. Otherwise, they will go outside only on the leashes provided by pet parents.* I want your animals to feel safe, comfortable and at home while they are with me.
