Safety, trust & environment
There is a large grassed area here, rocky areas and a creek. I have animal crates if your dog is kennel trained. I live in the garden suite, there is safe area for just cats or everyone to be together and often where the dogs hang out with me in the living room when we aren't out on walks or hikes.

Information crystal c. would like to know about your pet
Knowing about a pet ahead of time helps keep them safe, happy, and stress-free. Here’s a solid list of things that are super helpful to know before watching your pet! Basic Info Name, breed, and age How long they’ve had the pet / any history I should know Health & Safety Medications or allergies Vet contact info Emergency contacts Anything they can’t eat Behavior & Personality Are they shy, anxious, or reactive? Good with other pets/people? Do they have triggers? Favorite things vs. things they hate (vacuum cleaners, rain, etc.) Daily Routine Feeding times and portions Walk schedule or playtime Where they sleep Bathroom habits (litter box cleaned how often? outside breaks?) Fun & Enrichment Favorite toys or games Training commands they know Can they go off leash? Allowed on furniture or bed? House Rules (if I’m pet sitting at your place) Alarm system codes Where supplies are kept (leash, food, cleaning stuff) Trash day or mail pickup? WiFi password (for pet updates of course 😄)
A typical day
For Dogs: Adventure walks, fetch & tug-of-war – classic games that burn energy and build a bond. Obstacle courses – use household items to create a little agility course in the backyard Treat toys – stuff a Kong with peanut butter Photo shoot sessions – lots of treats for posing! For Cats: Laser pointer zoomies – guaranteed giggles. Interactive wand toys – like Bird or anything feathery and fluttery. Cat TV time – videos of birds or fish can keep them mesmerized. Cardboard forts – boxes and paper bags become jungle gyms.

Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals for over 20 years. I started out at a young age taking care of neighbours and friends animals. I spent some time volunteering for various animal societies. I regularly support the BC SPCA. I am responsible and professional.
Reviews
Crystal is a great animal carer and we absolutely recommend her. She accomodated our every need, somehow managed to keep our elderly small dog relaxed and comfortable for 8 hours, and went out of her way to help when we forgot one of our belongings. One thing - we're out-of-towners, and we absolutely loved the half hour drive to her place, gorgeous views - but factoring in the travel time is a good thing to know.
Crystal has house sit for me before and took care of my plants and cat! She is a wonderful and pleasant lady. Crystal is a responsible business owner and I appreciate her services.
Crystal pet sits our dog sometimes when we have to go out of town. She has a super friendly and playful dog that gets along great with the other neighbourhood pups. She has always proven herself to be a responsible adult and reliable dog sitter.
