I went to college to study animal welfare when I was only 14 years old and stopped college when I was 17, other then that I've also always lived with animals, and have owned a range of animals from cats and dogs to tarantulas and bearded dragons ... even pygmy hedgehogs. I'm able to give medicine orally and give pet massages but I'm not trained in injections One of my cats is elderly and has high blood pressure and having to take care of his kidneys and my other cat is a tripod cat so I'm well versed in how some animals need different care for special needs and will treat your pets with as much care as I treat my own. Occasionally my oldest child wants to tag along but she is very pet savvy and gentle but if your pet doesn't like kids I'm perfectly fine not taking her as I mainly do it by myself I'm perfectly fine if your pet is older and has accidents to clean up messes if I know where the cleaning stuff is and happy to help them reach the bathroom etc (a large older dog I looked after I had to pick up and help walk back indoors after bathroom trips in the garden sometimes) I am a little wary handling snakes but I'm fine defrosting food for them and feeding with tongs

During visits I am usually greeting your pet and giving fuss, then while doing other tasks such as cleaning bowls and feeding and watering I'm usually chatting away to them, like old friends. Any clean ups I do while they are eating, then have a play before I leave so they feel like family has visited

Crystal was absolutely amazing with my two cats, she kept me updated everyday with pictures and messages and really put me at ease leaving them in her highly capable hands. The cats loved her, even my more cautious cat that shies away from people, I wouldn't hesitate booking with her again
