I’ve taken care of animals (cats and dogs) for about 5 years. I started with taking care of relative’s animals when they would leave out of town. Recently, I began a job at a doggy daycare facility. My job requires for me to feed, bathe, play, and care for dogs and cats while they board the facility. This includes animals of all ages, with special needs, and of different sizes. Additionally, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a concentration in companion animals. My educational has taught me proper handling and care of companion animals, which includes cats and dogs. My knowledge extends to basic medical care, proper nutrition, and understanding of behavior of different species. I’m prepared in the case of an emergency and know how to respond effectively.
