Dog lover with no dogs at home
I’ve retired from my role as Director of Student Housing at CSU, Bakersfield. I’m an active CrossFit coach with lots of flexible time - and I love dogs! I’ve cared for the animals of loved ones for over 20 years. I’ve also helped care for difficult to handle dogs (seniors, aggressive large breeds, small ornery breeds) and loved every minute of it❤️. I had my Maltese/yorkie boy Yanni 20 years before he passed a few years ago. I’ve also assisted in training rescued, often aggressive bully breeds. Unfortunately, I am allergic to cats. So, I do not work with any cats or households that have a cat.

The BEST dog sitter out there! You can trust Crystal to stay in your home and take amazing care of your dogs. I feel exceptionally blessed to have met her as a dog sitter and now friend. She is amazing!
I hired Crystal to take care of my 3 dogs so I could finally take my daughter on vacation. It was “trust at first sight” and I knew she would be amazing to my 3 weirdo doggies! She took great care of them and I didn’t have a panic attack once thinking my dogs were not getting the attention they needed. They got all the attention and love they needed. When I came back home, my house was clean and my dogs were happy! They missed me, but they were not stressed at all. If you need someone that you can fully trust to take amazing care of your dogs and home, then Crystal is the person for you! I can’t begin to put into words how much I appreciate her. I absolutely adore her and so do my dogs! She is great at communicating. She is just wonderful human being!
Crystal was amazing! I highly, highly recommend her! I took a trip out of the country and needed someone to care for my dog and my house. Crystal was simply phenomenal. Her communication was spot on. She was extremely respectful of my pup, my home, and my instructions. She even had a back-up plan in place when an emergency came up. She left my home extremely clean and tidy and made sure my travel plans had not changed or been delayed to ensure my dog was cared for until I returned home. I will definitely ask Crystal back to take care of any of my pet/home needs in the future.
Crystal and her daughter were amazing with Kenny. In the short weekend that my pup stayed with Crystal, she regularly sent me pictures and videos of Kenny and where they went (walks, park, roadtrip, etc). This put my mind at ease that Kenny was in good hands and well taken cared of. When Kenny wouldn’t eat because of his new surroundings, Crystal fed him by hand. She even bought him an outdoor toy to play with. I’m so happy we found Crystal on Rover and would definitely recommend her for any pet owners who need kind and loving doggie sitters. 🐾❤️
Best of the best. Crystal took such a good care of my dog. Cleaned her ear infection after asking me kindly. Exercised with my dog my running with her everyday. Communication was great. Thank you!!!
Crystal was absolutely amazing with our dog! Multiple walks, lots of activities and cuddle time. Crystal was so good about keeping us informed and sending regular messages and updates. Seriously we were kind of afraid our dog wouldn't want to come home!

I am a personal trainer and CrossFit coach for people over 50. I have a 17 year old daughter who loves all animals. I have flexibility, transportation, and time to give. We don’t have dogs of our own at this time.

I have a fenced patio area, but I love to walk dogs. I am an attentive, responsible, loving caretaker who will happily take care of all your lovie’s need as you instruct. I can give medication and maintain any schedule or rules that you have at home. We don’t let dogs jump up on our furniture and we’ve found as long as they have a comfy spot they generally don’t protest.

I live near a lake and will love giving your dog a safe fun place to explore! I enjoy spending time training and providing mental stimulation. If your dog just prefers to cuddle while we watch tv, I’m game for that, as well!
