I specialize in overnight pet sitting in your home, allowing your pets to stay happy and comfortable in the place they know best — their own home. My schedule is flexible, and I’m available for overnight stays during the week, on weekends, or for longer stays while you’re traveling. While I’m caring for your pets, I do my best to maintain the routine they already know and love. Meals, walks, playtime, medications, bedtime rituals and morning routines are all followed according to your instructions. I’m also happy to bring in mail, water plants and keep an eye on your home while you’re away. I love being outdoors, so dogs who enjoy their walks will have a willing companion! And if your pet is more of a “let’s stay home and cuddle on the sofa” type, I’m very good at that job too. 🐾 My goal is simple: you enjoy your time away knowing your pets are loved, your home is cared for, and everything is waiting for you just as you left it.

I believe the best place for your fur babies while you’re away is often the place where they already feel safest… at home. That’s why all of my pet sitting and overnight care happens in your home. Your pets get to sleep in their own beds, eat in their familiar spot, take their usual walks and wake up surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells they know. This can be especially comforting for anxious or shy pets, senior animals, newly adopted pets, rescue animals, or simply those who don’t do well with boarding or changes in their environment. Rather than asking your pet to adjust to my world, I step into theirs. I follow the routines and boundaries you’ve created, while giving them plenty of companionship, affection, playtime, walks and reassuring presence. And because I stay overnight, they have someone there to tuck them in at night and greet them in the morning. You get to travel. They never lose the comfort of home. Less disruption. Less anxiety. Lots of love ❤️

The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them. I ask that owners be completely upfront with me before a stay about anything that could affect their pet’s care; medical conditions, medications, allergies, anxiety, behavioral concerns, aggression or bite history, fears, triggers, escape tendencies, interactions with other animals, unusual habits, or anything else you feel I should know. There is no such thing as “too much information” when it comes to your fur baby. ❤️ I’m comfortable caring for animals with different personalities and needs, and I know how to remain calm when unexpected situations arise. What I do need is the opportunity to be prepared. My priority will always be the safety and well-being of your pet, myself, and everyone we may encounter. Open, honest communication allows me to provide the very best care possible 🐾
A typical day
A typical day with your pet begins with the routine you’ve already created for them. I believe consistency helps animals feel safe and secure, especially when their favorite human is away. I follow your instructions closely, from wake-up and feeding times to walks, medications, playtime, potty breaks and bedtime routines. If your dog is used to a long early morning walk, we’re walking. If your cat expects breakfast at precisely 6:03 a.m… well, we both know who’s really in charge. 😹 Throughout the day, there will be plenty of companionship, attention and affection based on what your pet enjoys. Active dogs can expect plenty of outdoor time and walks, while senior, shy or lower-energy pets can enjoy a quieter pace, cuddles and simply having someone nearby. I pay attention to the little things too, appetite, energy, mood and behavior, because you know your pet best, and I want them to feel as comfortable and normal as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s routine doesn’t change just because you’re traveling. I simply step in and keep the love & routine going until you come home. ❤️

Hi, I’m Cristina, a lifelong animal lover, experienced pet parent, and quite possibly your pet’s new favorite auntie 😉🐾 Animals have always been part of my life, but some of my most meaningful experiences came these last 9 years in India (Nov-Jan) where caring for street animals became part of my everyday life. I’ve rescued animals, cared for dogs who were sick or injured, navigated unexpected situations, and more than once shared my home and my bed with a street dog who simply needed somewhere safe to land. Those experiences taught me something I carry with me daily the knowing that animals need more than someone who feeds them and takes them for a walk. They need to feel safe. Feeling safe = feeling loved & ability to trust. I seem to have a natural connection with animals, and even shy or uncertain pets often become comfortable with me quickly. I’m calm, patient, and affectionate, and I pay attention to the little things such as their personality, their signals, their routines, and what makes them feel secure. When your pet is with me, there will be plenty of walks, outdoor time, play, cuddles, and companionship. I’m also happy to bathe them, prepare their food, or cook special meals when needed. Most importantly, I follow your instructions. I’ll love your animal as if they were my own while always respecting the routines and boundaries you’ve established. And if something unexpected happens? I don’t panic. Years of caring for animals in all kinds of circumstances have taught me to stay calm, assess the situation, and take appropriate action. To me, pet sitting isn’t simply watching someone’s animal. It’s giving you the peace of mind that while you’re away, someone is there who genuinely cares. Part pet whisperer, part guardian angel, all heart. Experienced enough for the unexpected. Loving enough for the everyday.

Cristine is absolutely amazing with my dogs and is always my first choice as a sitter! I have two excitable pups -golden retriever and springer spaniel - and Cristina has such an amazing way with them. I know that in her care, not only are their needs met but they feel loved, she spends time with them, and they get the exercise they require. They are always excited to see her. Her lifetime of experience with animals is palpable in her connection with them. I cannot recommend her enough!
I've known Christine for years- besides being a good friend, she's my wonderful next Door neighbor who's always there to help; I have two little black feral cats who showed up one day, quite literally on my doorstep, starving but skittish, and with Christine's magic touch and help they've become my best friends. When we travel, Christine watches my Brady Bunch of pets , and with her watching over them and I don't have worry and I can just relax. Anyway, to me, she's an Angel and I doubt you would find anyone better to watch over your little Angels 😇...
Cristine is a kind, compassionate, and concerned human being. When I was healing from a broken wrist, she used her skills to help me recover. She also cares about the stray animals in our neighborhood, feeding and caring for them. We have seven rescue cats in our home and would trust her to care for them should be need her help. You would be hard pressed to find a more humane and decent human being.
Cristine has taken care of my two cats multiple times, the longest being for a 10 day period. She has been the best cat sitter I’ve had in years! She is so attentive to the specific needs of my kitties and cares so deeply. She’s a wonderful communicator and great about giving periodic updates and sending photos. I highly recommend her for any and all cat (and other animal) sitting!
