I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 12 years old, from family to friends’ dogs. Since that age we also had a family dog that I was responsible for feeding, walking, bathing, and treating them like they were my very own child. Now that I am older, I have a 5 year old Maltese who I absolutely adore. She is my world and I would go above and beyond for her. Pet care is a 24 hour job for me since I own a fur baby. I am currently in the Air Force so with my job position I have the flexibility to check on pets during lunch and after work. Because I own a fur baby, I wouldn’t be able to do over nights but I can do plenty of check ins during the week/weekend. I purchased my Maltese when she was 12 weeks old. Since the day i brought her home I have trained her to pee inside the house on potty pads. I never wanted her to hold her pee during the day so with pads she is free to use the bathroom whenever she needs. I also have never crated her and she roams the house as she pleases. I treat every dog like they are my own so I always make sure they are as comfortable as possible since they know their humans are gone. Dogs come first as well as their needs so I would make sure your fur babies are well token care of while I am watching them by feeding them, making sure they go potty, and giving them unlimited love/attention.
