I’m a Veterinary Technician with years of hands-on experience caring for animals in both veterinary and pet-sitting settings. I started my veterinary career in animal care and worked my way up to veterinary assisting before earning my degree in Veterinary Technology. That experience has made me comfortable caring for pets with a wide variety of personalities, ages, and medical needs. My veterinary background allows me to provide more than just the basics. I’m experienced with administering medications, monitoring for changes in health or behavior, senior pet care, post-operative care, and safely handling pets who may be nervous, fearful, or need a little extra patience. I’m also Fear Free certified and believe in using gentle, low-stress handling whenever possible. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and compassion I would want for my own, while keeping you updated so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I’m Fear Free certified and use gentle, low-stress handling while paying close attention to each pet’s body language and individual boundaries. I allow pets time to become comfortable with me rather than forcing interactions. My veterinary background also helps me recognize changes in behavior or health that may need attention. In your home, I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, household safety, and routines. I also make sure doors, gates, crates, leashes, and other potential escape points are secure.

As always, Cristina was wonderful with our kitties! And she always does whatever she can to fit us into her schedule. Once again, Cristina comes through with flying colors! I made an error in my booking dates, but she was willing to accommodate my mistake, and came as soon as she could. My cats love her, and she sends the BEST photos of them. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Cristina did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs. I would definitely use her again.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I can be flexible depending on your pet’s normal schedule. I know consistency is important, so I do my best to maintain their usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and potty routines while you’re away. I’m available for drop-in visits and can accommodate multiple visits per day when needed.

- I’d like to know as much as possible about your pet’s normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any special quirks or preferences. Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, mobility concerns, behavioral concerns, or recent changes in their health. It’s also important for me to know how your pet responds to new people and other animals, whether they have any fears or triggers, and if there are specific handling techniques I should use or avoid. I’d also like your veterinarian’s information and an emergency contact. The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can provide safe, comfortable, and individualized care.
