Home Full Time with a Fenced Yard!
Our black lab, Pookie, was 11 years old when she passed away. My son was very attached to her and just can't live without another dog around our house! We miss her dearly, but we thought that working with Rover and helping other dogs and their owners would be a great solution to our desire to have a pup around the house. I know in my heart of hearts that having another dog around the house will make all of us happy! I have two young children and if your pup stays with us, it will be a family affair! My kids love being involved in everything I do and they love all kinds of animals (and insects!). I grew up in Romania where there were a lot of stray dogs and as a child, I always tried to help all dogs I saw on the streets. Because of this, I try to teach my kids every day to be kind to everyone but especially animals, because animals can't always defend themselves like people can. Years ago, I worked for someone who bred Labradors Retrievers and I took care of more than 60 dogs at that time. I also have taken care of various friends’ dogs that range in breed and size from tiny to large. I’m looking forward to using my background with dogs in a professional manner by working with Rover. When it comes to caring for your pup, I am up for playtime, walking or just hanging out and cuddling. The kids and I like to go for walks around the neighborhood or on the weekend, we take family hikes or look for a new restaurant to check out. We live in a single family home with plenty of space and a nice big fenced-in backyard and front yard. I have a flexible schedule and I am home most of the day, so whatever your pup needs I am happy to provide! I am a stay at home mom. I usually leave my house to take the kids to school, grocery shopping and small errands around the house. Your pup won't stay home alone for longer than 2-3 hours. I have a pretty good size fenced-in back and front yard and plenty of room inside my house if your dog needs to be in his/her crate.

Cristina was so incredibly accommodating for both of my dogs. My heeler mix Rainey I adopted only 3 months ago, and this was my first time boarding him. On top of that, Rainey was healing from an injured claw, requiring medications and a cone. Cristina was very accommodating for Rainey's special situation. Both of my dogs came back happy and tired from being able to play with the other dogs in her big backyard space. I will definitely use Cristina's services again!
Christina was great with my dog, Tony. She has a nice big yard, and arranged a time for Tony to come meet her to ensure he would be comfortable. Her kids gave him love, and he seemed happy enough coming home. I would use her again if she will have him back.

Cristina was amazing! She was very good about giving updates throughout the stay. She is also someone who really loves to be around dogs and really understands them. Our dog came back happy and wanting to go back.
Cristina was wonderful! She boarded my elderly dog on short notice and everything went well. Highly recommended.

A typical day
Our options are pretty much limitless! We can play fetch or go for a walk (my kids and I love taking walks). If your pup is up for it, we can also head over to the dog park. I’m home most of the day, so my schedule is flexible and you can be assured your pup will get all the attention they need. We have a nice fenced-in yard if we want to stay close to home or we can head out for a stroll around the neighborhood or a longer hike on the weekend. And did I mention there are two parks nearby that we can walk to? That’s right -- we can choose between two parks to visit!
