I'm currently unemployed, so I have lots of time to dote on your pets! I'm hoping to grow pet sitting into a full-time side business and am using Rover to get started.

Safety, trust & environment
I am currently offering drop-in visits and walks. I make every effort to keep your companion safe and happy during our time together, including a free consultation to make sure we're a great match. I think it's especially important to respect an animal's boundaries, regardless of species; whether you have a fearful cat or a reactive dog, I always do my best to help the animal feel comfortable and safe. I'm also currently in the process of becoming American Red Cross First Aid Certified for cats and dogs!
Information Cristina G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets have any special needs or behavioral issues ahead of time so I can properly prepare. Before your sit date, we can coordinate a consult for me to meet you and your companions to ensure a great fit.
A typical day
A typical drop-in includes feeding your pets, walking dogs, cleaning up litter and/or weewee pads, and offering general TLC. I love to play with both cats and dogs and consider burning energy to be part of the job. Stimulation is so important for both species! That said, if your companion is shy or fearful, I will always follow their lead and avoid putting them out of their comfort zone.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Cristina, a longtime animal lover who just wants to be surrounded by critters 24/7. I provide reliable, in-home drop-in visits with a warm, attentive approach so your pets feel comfortable and cared for. I have prior animal shelter and pet sitting experience, and I’m experienced in giving oral medications to cats and dogs (though I am not doing injectable medications, like insulin, at this time). While I mainly care for dogs and cats, I also have hands-on experience with reptiles, birds, fish, and small animals. As a cat mom myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I treat every animal like my own!

Reviews
I’ve known Cristina both personally and through our shared work with animals, and I can confidently say she’s one of the most reliable and compassionate people I know when it comes to pet care. As someone who works in a veterinary setting and also pet sits myself, I would trust her without hesitation. She’s calm, attentive, and genuinely tuned in to what pets need to feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend Cristina for anyone looking for thoughtful, dependable care.
Cristina took such thoughtful care of my cat, Arya, who is usually very fearful around new people. From the start, she was incredibly patient and attentive, letting Arya warm up at her own pace. I especially appreciated the detailed updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. It was clear Arya was in capable, caring hands the entire time. I wouldn't hesitate to trust Cristina again.
I had Cristina walk and check in on my dog, Lucy, while I was away. She made the whole experience easy and stress-free. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly attentive to my dog’s needs and routine. I always knew when she arrived, how things went, and that my dog was getting the care and attention I’d hoped for. It’s a huge relief to be able to travel without worrying, and Cristina gave me that. I’d absolutely book her again.
