Pet care experience
Calm and Caring energy for your pet
I’ve worked for years with cats and dogs, worked at a free-roam cat shelter with cats of all temperaments and ages, I’ve also volunteered at cat & dog shelters. I do TNR work in Union NJ and prevented a cat colony near my home. I was also president of an animal welfare group for two years at Rutgers. I have a calm energy that most animals are very receptive to. I’d love to walk or check-in on your pets!
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Christina was great with our pup and very responsible! I would highly recommend her as a dog walker.

Cristina is friendly, attentive, and has a ton of real life experience with her own kitty babies. She truly cares about the well being of my boys. One of my boys has special dietary needs and she is careful to make sire she’s meeting those needs. When she visits she spends quality time with them to make sure they’re not too lonely and sends me pictures to show how they’re doing. If you want someone who is experienced and genuinely cares about your pets, Cristina is your gal!
Cristina is an excellent pet sitter. She loves animals. She has sat for my cat Dapper countless times and would brush him and speak to him as if he's her baby. Dapper loves her. He does not like a lot of people. She has also dog sat for my dog Phoebe and was amazing with her, besides caring for her, would also sit on the ground and play with her and pet and brush her. She has worked for animals shelters and belonged to animal clubs. I highly recommend her. You pet will fall in love with her.

Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I make sure to gauge the pet’s comfort level and proceed based on that. If they are curious and friendly I’ll let them smell some of my clothing or sir to get acquainted. If they need a little time to warm up I make sure to give them space and let them warm up to me before engaging. This could include feeding, luring them out with a toy, cleaning up messes in the mean time. I want the animals to be comfortable.
