Experienced Foster Mom!
Hi! I’m Cristina, long-time foster mom and have worked with multiple rescues over the years. While I don’t currently have a foster, I have experience with many different breeds, personalities, and support needs. Because Ive worked in rescues, I’ve completed various dog safety and handling trainings and as well as basic training education. I truly just love fur babies and will treat yours like my own! I’m experienced with medication management, including pill-form and injection administration. Always happy to chat further and provide details!

Schedule
I currently work as a psychotherapist in private practice and work from home often. I use walks to stay active during my day and have a very flexible schedule to fit in other needs.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets are allowed to roam freely and allowed on the couch. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live across the street from the park where there’s plenty of green space to walk around, as well as a dog park if that’s something a pet parent is interested in (this dog park is usually empty throughout the day so if you’re pup isn’t a fan of other dogs, we can usually still use it to play fetch!). I also have a big crate from previous fostering experiences that I use for fur babies that aren’t potty trained yet, so they sleep there at night or when I leave the house.
A typical day
I enjoy basic training and keeping dogs engaged through teaching commands (it helps if they’re treat motivated!). I also really love to be outside and get my steps in with them. When we’re hanging out at home, you can definitely expect lots of tug of war and playtime!
