Stay at home dog mom!
I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life! My mom is a retired veterinarian and biologist, and my dad—an engineer with a passion for dog training—used to train rescue dogs to find missing people. One of my favorite childhood memories is playing hide and seek in the mountains with our dog during his training sessions! My family is full of animal lovers, and for the past six years, I’ve been the proud and responsible pet parent of my own pups. I rescued a sweet little chihuahua off the streets of Mexico, and she brought me so much joy for 10 wonderful years. After she passed, my heart eventually opened up again, and I adopted Obi—a beagle-lab mix who’s as friendly and playful as they come! She’s been with me for almost four years now, and she’s sure to be the perfect playmate for your pup!

Ratings and reviews
Cristina is great! I had to find someone to board Otis last-minute and he had the best time with her!

Christina was an amazing sitter and I highly recommend her! She was very accommodating of our dog's needs and so easy to work with. Our dog had a great time and seemed to feel right at home with Christina and her pup. We will definitely be reaching out again soon.

Cristina and her husband provided AMAZING care for our dog during her 10 day stay. They provided us with daily updates and were always quick to respond if I had any questions or if I just wanted to check in. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they will go above and beyond for your pet and really treat them as part of their family.

Cristina and her husband are AMAZING. They have great communication and sent so many pictures of our dog while we were visiting family over the holidays. We even had some last-minute medicine that needed to be administered and they made sure my dog had all her medication and kept me updated about how well she was doing at their place. I highly recommend them, especially for anyone that is a bit nervous traveling without their dog for the first time. Their dog Obi is so sweet and got along really well with my dog. I can’t thank them enough for how well they took care of her while we were out of town.

Cristina and her husband are the perfect couple to trust your furry friend with. Cristina was our Nanny in 2018, while her responsibilities never included managing our 70lb rescue, she absolutely created a special bond with him. She would take him out on walks just for fun and Cooper was so happy to have her to play with all day! I absolutely trust her - not only with my dog but to take care of my kids as well and that says a lot about her!

Schedule
Obi and I go on 2 daily walks! One in the morning and one mid day. She is very active so we try to stay out of the house as much as possible when weather permits it !

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a pet friendly apartment with my roommate Carolyn, we have the cutest fenced in backyard that allows the pups to chill while chewing on a stick or go on a quick potty break if needed. We are also surrounded by many green spaces and parks perfect for potty breaks and play time!
Pets
A typical day
Our day gets started around 8am with a morning walk in the neighborhood. As soon as we get back home it’s breakfast time! Followed by a short play session (- Obi always chooses a tennis ball, but we have plenty of other toys to choose from) Then we go for a little downtime until it’s time to go for our mid-day walk. This is normally our longer walk, and depending on weather we might walk to the waterfront or find a new park around the neighborhood. Dinner is served around 6pm - followed by (of course) more play time! Obi likes to play tug with us while we watch a show. Right before bed, we go on outside for a quick potty break before settling for the night :)
