Any separation, socializing, or anxiety issues. How much experience in the snow the pup has had. Just like people, animals can suffer from altitude sickness. It's important to recognize the signs and act accordingly.

A typical day

Here in the mountains our activities are like the weather, they change daily. The pups and I go for walks around the neighborhood near Reagan Beach. I like to discuss off leash options, and owner preferences, to determine if we will go to the park or visit local hiking trails. I have a comfy couch and dog beds for relaxing.

Pet care experience

I'm looking forward to my sixth year professionally watching pups while mom and dad get some turns in on the hill. Our pets are family, and I look after all fur babies the way I'd like mine to be cared for. Playing in the park, hiking, and cuddling on the couch are our typical days. Parents will be kept up to date with photos. I'd like to think I've gotten my pet portrait skills down. Treats have greatly assisted me in the process ;) I am flexible, and will work with you to fit your unique scheduling needs. If you are arriving at 3am from a long drive and need to drop the pups off then, no problem. Too tired after the hill? We can arrange a drop off. Prices are negotiable for additional pups and services.

BEWARE! Cristin used to dog sit in Mammoth Lakes. When we dropped our dog off at her messy shaggy apartment we were greeted by her and a lost seeming guy - both totally hungover with dark circles under their eyes. Seems to be more of a serious alcohol or drug abuse problem and not just a single night of fun. Do NOT entrust your pets to Cristin!

DO NOT USE CRISTIN C. !!!!! This is an absolute scam. Upon dropping off our dog, I had a bad feeling about Cristin C. She did not seem to be a dog person, never made eye contact with me or engage our dog and I noticed how rough she was being with her as I was driving off. After I got back to our condo, I discussed my experience with my wife and re-examined her reviews on Rover. Although she had 5 stars, we initially overlooked detailed reviews by others customers that were deeply concerning. The bad reviews seemed to be accurate and more in-line with the drop-off experience I had with Cristin C. and we decided to go pick Lucy up immediately. I made multiple attempts to contact her by phone, text and through the Rover app with no response. I finally decided to knock on the door of one of the units in the multi-unit complex. The person that answered knew Cristin C. and was kind enough to take me to her apartment. I knocked on the door and heard multiple dogs barking and yelling which was disturbing to me. However, the most disturbing part was her coming to the door half-naked in a frenzy to get her clothes on. The apartment was a mess and had a strong urine odor. My dog was still on the leash from when I dropped her off 5 hours prior to picking her up. She had not been fed as I noticed the food, cup and poop bags were in the same position as when I gave it to her. Her apartment was located down in a basement with no easy access to allow Lucy to go to the bathroom. I contacted her after picking her up and inquired about a refund since Lucy was only with her for a matter of hours. She stated that she could only refund half of the second night booked. I don’t expect a full refund, however based on our terrible experience, I do expect the majority of our funds to be reimbursed. You have my full permission to contact Cristin C. to address these unfortunate circumstances.
