Each pet is unique, and I am prepared to earn their trust and be their secondary best friend (to you of course) with rewarding and fulfilling play, companionship and care.
Information Cristen C. would like to know about your pet
What does a typical day for them look like? What, if any, commands are they trained with? Any things to avoid/things they shouldn’t be doing (examples might be - no human food, no leaving them alone with certain objects, etc)? Do they have a favorite toy or treat, place to walk, spot to be pet/get scritches? How are they around other dogs and humans of all sizes?
A typical day
I had to get creative with my geriatric girl who was mostly blind and deaf, but still had her sense of smell! I would hide treats around a room for her to sniff them out. Playtime is always catered to the dog’s unique personality - tug of war, fetch, chase, walks and sniffairs, etc.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of many different kinds of animals since I was a child. From small and large dogs, cats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, small birds, to snakes, turtles and tortoises, bearded dragons, and tegu lizards. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets when needed. I have experience with senior and special needs dogs, puppies and high energy fur babies. My family currently shares our home with 4 dogs - a 13yo shih tzu with cancer, my 4yo labradoodle who loves to join me on hikes, a wire fox terrier puppy with endless energy, and a cocker spaniel puppy who gives the terrier a run for his money - along with two cats - an 11yo sassy Persian, and a 4yo tabby who never met a treat he didn’t like. It’s a menagerie at home, where these family pets stay whenever I am privileged to spend time spoiling other fur babies while their humans are away. I am always surrounded by dogs, and (crazily?) talk to them as if they can understand/respond. We have had dogs with special needs, diabetes, cancer, that were blind and deaf, and many picky eaters.
Reviews

Cristen again is amazing. We have two Great Danes who demand attention and Cristen steps right up and gives it. We got new place and Cristen did great in it and kept it clean and great. Our kids love having her and are always pooped out when we get back. So glad we found Cristen!!!

Cristen was amazing! We tried out Cristen for the first time due to our current sitter canceling on us last minute. Cristen came to the rescue and our kids loved her! Received lots of updates and pictures and our kids seemed so happy when we returned home. Our home was kept clean and even our orange cat came out the same day who is usually shy of strangers. Would def recommend Cristen and will love to use her again!

Cristen is fantastic! She always does a wonderful job of taking care of our Mini Schnauzer. We even needed a few home tasks taken care of while we were out of the country for 2 weeks and she went above and beyond the typical pet sitting. We implicitly trust her and would request her for future doggy care needs in a heartbeat!

Once again, Cristen stepped into our shoes to give love and care to our baby. With Cristen in our home, we knew we could relax during our getaway and not worry one bit. Cristen is a treasure which is why we’ve booked her more than once! She is awesome!
