I have been a pet lover my whole life, and my philosophy is that pets are family members that behave like toddlers! They need a safe and stimulating environment to thrive, where they are happy to explore, be themselves and relax. They needs some supervision and play time, and some gentle redirecting when getting into "trouble"! They require attention and love and I prioritize their well-being by keeping their routine as similar as possible. I try to minimize the separation anxiety they may feel when their "pawrents" are away by providing a calm environment, with walks, enrichment activities, playtime, and as many needed potty breaks. I love to share adorable moments and keep you updated on how our day is going by sending multiples pictures, videos and texts daily. All pet have unique needs and personalities so I am happy to learn about their quirkiness and all the details of their habits to ensure they are taken care of, and feel comfortable. I am a patient and kind person, who loves being at home reading and cooking when I am not hiking, exploring new trails and taking pictures of nature. My work day (mainly remote) is flexible, making it easy for me to adapt to your pet's routine. I am a (co-parent) pet owner myself so I know what it entails to be a responsible caretaker! I share custody of our sweet Iago, who is a mixed Yorkie 12 years old rescue. He has a big personality despite his small size, and we love to spend time with him! We only have him over for a few weeks at the time throughout the year. We call it his vacation time in the Poconos as he lives mainly in a big city! I have taken care of many pets in the past decades and truly enjoy it! It makes my day more meaningful and entertaining.
