I have been a pet lover my whole life, and my philosophy is that pets are family members that behave like toddlers! They need a safe and stimulating environment to thrive, where they are happy to explore, be themselves and relax. They needs some supervision and play time, and some gentle redirecting when getting into "trouble"! They require attention and love and I prioritize their well-being by keeping their routine as similar as possible. I try to minimize the separation anxiety they may feel when their "pawrents" are away by providing a calm environment, with walks, enrichment activities, playtime, and as many needed potty breaks. I love to share adorable moments and keep you updated on how our day is going by sending multiples pictures, videos and texts daily. All pet have unique needs and personalities so I am happy to learn about their quirkiness and all the details of their habits to ensure they are taken care of, and feel comfortable. I am a patient and kind person, who loves being at home reading and cooking when I am not hiking, exploring new trails and taking pictures of nature. My work day (mainly remote) is flexible, making it easy for me to adapt to your pet's routine. I am a (co-parent) pet owner myself so I know what it entails to be a responsible caretaker! I share custody of our sweet Iago, who is a mixed Yorkie 12 years old rescue. He has a big personality despite his small size, and we love to spend time with him! We only have him over for a few weeks at the time throughout the year. We call it his vacation time in the Poconos as he lives mainly in a big city! I have taken care of many pets in the past decades and truly enjoy it! It makes my day more meaningful and entertaining. I am usually the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family members because they know I will take care of their furry children as if they were mine, with the same level of attention to details and always respecting their home by leaving it clean and tidy. Sosa enjoyed his stay. I was nervous leaving Sosa for his 1st time but Cristel took amazing care of him sending messages and pics daily a couple times a day and with those I could see he was relaxed and enjoyed his time. We definitely will book Cristel for our next vacation.
Cristol is amazing. She stayed over and took care of my older shepherd. You can tell my pup Lexie was well taken care of. My dog was happy and stress free. In addition, Cristol even cleaned my kitchen and refrigerator. Cristol is the best and I won't hesitate to use her again.

Absolutely fantastic sitter! You will not be disappointed. I was very anxious about leaving our girl, for the first time since losing her brother in October, but Cristel was so wonderful and reassuring during our initial meeting that I felt very comfortable and confident that Sophie would be in excellent caring hands. During our time away Cristel kept us constantly updated with texts, photos and videos which were greatly appreciated. And on our return, she had left our home spotless. Her service goes above and beyond for sure. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful and caring person and will continue to use her for any future trips.
Just WOW. Cristel was absolutely AMAZING with our dog Maui. We were gone a week and had zero issues. We got constant updates, tons of photos, and truly felt she was taken care of. Cristel and her partner left our home spotless. We couldn't ask for better sitters and will use them exclusively going forward. 10/10 cannot recommend them enough!

Schedule
I work remotely, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and to provide extra attention to your fur babies. More than a pet sitter, I would describe myself as a pet nanny, providing 1:1 attention. Having the company of sweet pets makes my day better as it breaks away from the monotony of working from home.

Taking care of pets is a huge responsibility that I take seriously. It requires trust, dedication and great communication. I am always sending updates, and sharing how our walks/playtime went. I make sure to provide a safe and stimulating environment so that any pet under my care remains active and happy. I am a strong believer that pets need a stable routine, attentive care and a loving approach as trust is built. In essence, pets are like toddlers who need love and protection, so it is very rewarding when I can make a connection and bond with a new pet friend and provide peace of mind to their parents.
A typical day
I love hiking, so if you have an active dog, I am happy to take them on a nice long walk. If your fur baby is more about lounging, I have toys and treats available. I have a big yard and long leashes, to make sure we get some outdoor playtime, weather permitting, besides regular walks.
