I routinely inspect my own home to ensure everything is in order and will do the same for your home. My own pets have trained me to notice signs of illness or distress such as vomit stains, abnormal litter box activity, object destruction, scooting, or excessive shedding. I also observe how a pet moves to see if pain or injury may be present. I tend to over inform in my reports so that you feel comfortable that your pet is well and have confidence that the visit was thorough and attentive.

I have experience caring for diabetic cats. I can administer subcutaneous insulin for dogs and cats if needed. I can also administer topical medication such as thyroid medicine that goes in the ear. Please let me know if your dog has any bolting triggers (ex: will dart after squirrels, etc) or if any problem animals live along common walk routes. Also, please tell me if your dog has any health or medical issues that may come up while walking (ex: epilepsy, allergies, needs extra water, etc).

I like to walk your dog in a familiar area and pause to smell the roses that may get overlooked on your regular outings. If your dog needs to burn energy or get in some exercise, I’m happy to go for a more energetic walk as well.
