Pets in the home have always been a huge part of my life. With experience caring for a wide variety of animals, from rescue dogs with anxiety issues to independent cats, who just want love… from a distance! I understand how to meet each pet’s unique needs. You can trust that your beloved companions will receive patient, attentive care and plenty of understanding for their personalities and quirks. Until now, I have mainly looked after family and friends' pets, but I am eager to offer these skills to new clients as I branch out into full-time pet care.

Criofan is an amazing sitter! My 7 y/o dog, Lux, has been going to daycare with Criofan 4 days a week since May and the quality of care she gives the pups is over the moon! Before Criofan, Lux was pretty aloof with other dogs, preferring to do her own thing or stick to the humans. With Criofan's encouragement she's opened up so much more and it was always a highlight of my day to hear how she was coming out of her shell, little by little. Alongside this, the photos Criofan takes throughout the day (I've suggested she go into pet photography, because her pictures are always stunning) gives such a fun peek into Lux's day! I would highly recommend Criofan to anyone in the area seeking care for their doggo. Thank you so much, Criofan!!
Criofan provided excellent care for our Papillon puppy.
Criofan was amazing! She’s very accommodating, professional and communicative. And her location provides so much peace of mind—lots of secure and safe space for dogs to run around. Criofan was so great about keeping me updated on how my pup Poppy was settling in, and really eased my mind. It’s clear Criofan really understands dogs, and works with their limitations to make them feel comfortable.
Criofin was great! Our pup is shy with new people and had never done daycare before, but he got comfortable quickly playing with the other dogs. At the end of the day we had a very happy and tired dog. 10/10 would recommend!
Criofan took excellent care of my boy Dennis. We got lots of fun updates while we were away, Dennis looked like he had a great time :)
We are so happy to have found Criofan and this beautiful farm for our pups. Leo and Millie had the most wonderful time. Criofan was easy to communicate with and sent us photos of our dogs running, playing with balls and soaking in the doggy pool. They were both so tired hahaha and happy puppers at the end of the day. We will be back for sure!!!

Schedule
I spend most of my day working on the farm and devoting my time to your four-legged pals left in my care! While most of my time is focused on the animals who come into my care, we are a family of five, so there will always be someone available to meet your pet's needs!

We reside on 10 acres of rural farm land in the Saanich area! I have multiple ways to keep your pet engaged on our land alone! From walks through the forest trails to fetch in the field, then they can cool off after a big day on an expansive shady porch, or get rehydrated in our little doggy paddling pool! Your pets will always be under my supervision and cared for as if they were my own, so you can rest assured they are safe and receiving plenty of personal attention. We have areas on the property that are fully fenced in, so if you are a little wary of having your dog off-leash, don't fear! We have an entire fully fenced-in field for your pets to romp to their hearts' delight!

A typical day
We have lots to offer your furry friends on our farm! Walks through the woods, fully fenced in play areas, and large fields for the pups who like to fetch or play with each other! Plenty of interactive toys and games, including a doggy paddling pool for the ones who love to splash around! Does your dog like lounging in the sun or a cool shady spot under some large trees? We have both! No matter what kind of rest or play your pups prefer, we have it all!

- If you are interested in boarding or doggy daycare services, please note that there might be other dogs on the property at the same time as your pet. If your pup is a bit more shy or is working through some behavioural obstacles, not to worry! While it is important to have that information, we still have plenty of fenced-in separate areas, and they will absolutely still be able to take part in all the fun activities the farm has to offer!
