Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely as a teacher, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of opportunities throughout the day for walks and check-ins. I already care for my own dog daily and take him out four times a day, making sure he stays comfortable and active with essentials like his water bottle, shoes, and cooling hat when needed. Because pet care is already a regular part of my routine, I’m experienced with maintaining consistent schedules, exercise, hydration, and attentive care. This allows me to easily provide dependable walks and personalized attention for other pets as well.

A typical day with my golden retriever starts with an early morning walk. On cooler mornings, we may walk up to an hour, followed by regular walks about every four hours to keep him comfortable and on a steady routine. He wears protective shoes on walks to keep his paws safe, carries a small water bottle for hydration, and on especially sunny days, he wears a cooling hat to help with the heat. He eats twice a day, takes a relaxing afternoon nap, and enjoys playing throughout the day with his favorite durable chew toys. He’s very social and loves meeting both humans and dogs—one of his favorite parts of walks is greeting new friends and happily soaking up attention and pets along the way.
