I have over 45 years experience taking care of cats and dogs and also have volunteered for several years in dog shelters when I am on vacation. I am now retired and after losing my dog of over 16 years I want to open my home to dogs needing care.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Craig! This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous leaving my dogs with someone new, but was instantly put at ease. Craig kept me updated multiple times a day, which I appreciated. He went above and beyond with them-taking them for multiple walks a day that even included going to parks and the beach, giving them so much love and attention. He genuinely cared about them and wanted them to have a fun, happy stay. I came home to two very happy (and tired) dogs, and I’m honestly sad their stay is over because I know how much fun they had. I would absolutely recommend him and will definitely use him again.
Craig did an amazing job watching our dog Bitsy. He shared lots of pics and filled us in daily on their walks and activities. Would highly recommend him.
Craig was great with my dog. I had to leave him for a week and Craig was very good with him taking him for walks and sending me pictures everyday. He is easy going and I will leave my pup with him if the need arrives anytime.

Another great stay for Barney with Craig while we were away last weekend! We never have to worry about leaving him because we know he’s getting exceptional care. Craig makes sure Barney gets plenty of walks, outdoor time in his fenced yard, and sends daily updates with photos, which we always appreciate. One of Barney’s favorite things is watching the squirrels from the window perch Craig has set up for his canine guests. It’s clear he’s comfortable, happy, and well cared for every time he stays. We highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

I am retired so I have sufficient time to care for your pet and take them for walks since I do not have to leave for work. I strive to give you the best value in care. I love to walk so I make sure your pet gets plenty of outside time amd walks if they like to walk.

Safety, trust & environment
Pets have free roam in my house and are allowed on the furniture , bed etc. I live in a quiet area close to parks and they will get walks in and plenty of outside time. I have a fenced yard also.
A typical day
Weather permitting I walk a lot every day so if your dog likes to take walks then it will get plenty of outside time. I live near some great dog friendly parks and love being outside with them.
