Retired and pet sitting in my home
I have over 45 years experience taking care of cats and dogs and also have volunteered for several years in dog shelters when I am on vacation. I am now retired and after losing my dog of over 16 years I want to open my home to dogs needing care.

Another great stay for Barney with Craig while we were away last weekend! We never have to worry about leaving him because we know he’s getting exceptional care. Craig makes sure Barney gets plenty of walks, outdoor time in his fenced yard, and sends daily updates with photos, which we always appreciate. One of Barney’s favorite things is watching the squirrels from the window perch Craig has set up for his canine guests. It’s clear he’s comfortable, happy, and well cared for every time he stays. We highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!
Barney had the best stay with Craig! He got plenty of walks and loves the window perch. We really appreciated the daily updates and pictures. We have recommended Craig to others and will definitely be back!
Craig was great with our dog! Sent a lot of updates and was courteous and attentive to our dog’s personality and needs! He was very flexible to work with as well.
Craig spoiled Gus with swim time, belly rubs, and plenty of friends during his 11-day stay. He also kept me updated with photos every morning. It helped put my mind at ease for leaving my pup that long. In the end it just felt like my dog was at summer camp!
Craig was so kind and gracious to Cooper! He sent multiple pictures of our pup per the request. Cooper was so loved and had a great time. Would rebook!

I am retired so I have sufficient time to care for your pet and take them for walks since I do not have to leave for work. I strive to give you the best value in care. I love to walk so I make sure your pet gets plenty of outside time amd walks if they like to walk.

Pets have free roam in my house and are allowed on the furniture , bed etc. I live in a quiet area close to parks and they will get walks in and plenty of outside time. I have a fenced yard also.

Weather permitting I walk a lot every day so if your dog likes to take walks then it will get plenty of outside time. I live near some great dog friendly parks and love being outside with them.
