Does your dog have separation anxiety or have a tendency to not be responsive to commands or pay attention to anyone other than you? Does s/he have trouble getting along with other dogs, even those very docile? These might be compatability issues. But we've done a lot of training dogs, so many times, we can get past issues.
A typical day
Every dog has his/her own level of activity. We routinely play fetch and catch with our fosterees. Back yard has bird feeders for endless visual entertainment and a hillside to romp and sniff.

Pet care experience
Retired Chiropractor and wife who have been owned by pets all our lives. Currently have a senior labrador, juvenile labrador and orange tabby cat (raised with dogs). Wife and I are both retired. We are home most of the time, available to our fur-babies. Yard is 4' tall fenced hillside property: plenty of room to romp and lots of stuff to sniff. While living in Maui, we trained service dogs for the handicapped. First, of course, we have to introduce your "kid" to ours, letting everyone get aquainted and comfortable. One of our dogs is night-crate trained, the other, older dog, is very sedate, yet still quite alert. The cat was raised with dogs, plays with them and will quickly establish who is "boss". Since my wife and I are both retired from professions we performed for decades, our time is completely our own. We have no committments that require us to be gone from home, other than for shopping or normal personal needs. Our back yard is fenced and leading to that, we have 1200 sq feet of decking that permits dogs to play on level space or to lay in the sun.

Absolutely marvelous care! I thank my lucky stars for Craig & Jackie! They were caring and took great care of Kona so we could spend Sunday at church with our family. Kona came home, drank some water and put herself to bed for the night. She must have played hard all day. Great job Rover for adding Craig & Jackie to your team!
Our lab Buoy had a wonderful time with Craig and Jackie! They are such a warm and welcoming couple and so wonderful with dogs. Their home is comfortable and pet friendly, and they show so much love to all the dogs. A great deal of care was taken to get to know our pup and make sure he had a care free and comfortable stay, with attention to every detail about care and feeding and routine. Their 2 labs are just wonderful pups and our boy had so much fun hanging out with them. We felt completely at ease leaving our boy with them and plan to do so again! We highly recommend Craig and Jackie to anyone looking for a loving, caring family who they can trust to give the very best care to their fur baby.
Craig is a true animal lover! I have witnessed how well he interaction with his dogs and cat and how they respond to him. Craig works at maintaining a healthy and safe life style and environment for his pets.Craig also ensures that the stray neighborhood cats always have food and water available. Did I mention he does the same for the local squirrel population. When visiting my home, Craig greets and talks to our brood of dogs and cats. Our dogs have always been welcome to visit their home and play his dogs. Craig is a career caregiver and that devotion is also shared with pets.
We have known Dr. Craig for over 60 years, and we have never known him to be without a fur baby in his home. He is kind, loving, and his animals are part of his family. He and his wife, Jackie, would make excellent pet sitters. I would never hesitate to trust them with our pets, knowing that they would be cared for in exactly the same way we care for them. His pets are always well trained and friendly, so they would be great pet companions for any dog or cat
