I've been a dog mom for over 15 years. I most recently lost my best friend Izzy, a big Loverador, after 12 years in 2020, and have since missed the joy a dog brings into the home. While I am not quite ready to adopt again, I am excited to take this time to help you in caring for your best friend the same way I would expect for anyone watching my own. I work full time from home and am pretty flexible in my daily routine. Breaks often include walks to either one of the nearby parks or open space USFS land; all within less than a mile of the property. I have a large unfenced yard with a comfortable lead for a bit of off-leash fun. I do have an older cat (15) who was raised by labs and is very comfortable around other dogs - not cats. Please no known aggresive dogs to cats.

Perfect sitter in every way!

There are a lot of dog lovers out there, but Courtney is by far one of the best. She loves dogs dearly and takes care of them with as much care, responsibility and kindness as anyone I've known. She is our FIRST choice for watching our little Golden Retriever knowing he will get the best possible care and be treated as if he was her own dog. Courtney has years of experience lovingly raising her own dogs - big and small, taking them on walks, playing with them, minding their safety at all times and providing all kinds of emotional support. She's a wonderful person to humans as well so feel exceptionally lucky to have her as your dog's companion.
Courtney is an incredible pet parent. She has raised several well-behaved, loving dogs and cats, all of whom have been doted upon as beloved family members. She stops at nothing to keep her pets comfortable and healthy, and she is gentle and effective in correcting bad behavior. She is responsible and engaging; your pup will keep busy and get plenty of attention. My dogs love and respect their "auntie Court" and she is an outstanding role model in how to train and care for animals. Your pet will be in excellent hands with Courtney.
Courtney is an amazingly loving and attentive caregiver. When I first got my pup and was insanely apprehensive to leave him with anyone she took amazing care of him and let me know he was in safe hands and having a blast. My dog fell in love with ‘Aunt Courtney’ and loves to visit her, just saying her name has him jumping in joy. I met Courtney about 5 years ago when she had a pup of her own, she is by far one of biggest animal lovers I have ever known. My pup fell in love with her and I know yours will too.
