Downtown flexible pet sitter!
I live downtown-adjacent. I current work a very flexible from from home job for a charity. I own a small pomsky who loves being around other dogs. I have lived and looked after both cats, dogs and snakes and love pets of all kinds! I am very high-energy and love a companion for long walks or runs and with my flexible schedule I can stick to whatever timings for meals or walks your pet is used to. I live a couple blocks from a dog park and by the canal so lots of local green space is available. I am a relaxed and easy-going person with a lot of patience-I have fostered ill pets before so am used to giving some medications, I have had both a German shepherd, a mixed mutt and I have regularly looked after a toy poodle so enjoy both large and small dogs. I am training for a 10k so if any pups love going for runs I am open to that! I also love long walks along the canal which is a couple of blocks from my building. I am 6’3 and tall/sturdy enough to handle energetic or larger pups!

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible. I occasionally go downtown for class or a meeting but when looking after a dog I never leave for more than a couple hours and can ensure I’m around when needed.

**I took a break dog sitting when taking in my own dog. He is a small dog who is well trained and is very social with other dogs so I will only be accepting clients whose pets are friendly with other dogs. Or if they are not I am open to drop-in’s, walks, and house sitting also

A typical day
I love early morning walks along the canal to wake up for the day! I start work at 10am so like to have a good walk first thing. Depending on the ice and the dog I have taken dogs I’ve looked after jogging with me in the afternoons which they love. I will go to the dog park but only after I know the behaviour of the dog/how it interacts with others and if the owner approves as I know there are varying opinions.
