When out for walks, I am hyper-vigilant with your dog. I will always have your dog on leash, even if you are comfortable with them being off-leash. Better safe than sorry! I'm well versed in gauging temperament and reacting accordingly, and have no problems separating or socializing your pet, depending on their needs! Patience is my MO. Does your fur baby prefer a sniff-ari over a marathon? let's do it! the way i see it, walks are their news and their social media, and they deserve and enjoy that stimulation just as much as we do! (and hey, no doom scrolling!)

Information Courtney W. would like to know about your pet
Any information about dog reactiveness, food aggression, and separation anxiety are important for me to know. (This does NOT mean I wont take your dog if any of the above applies to him or her) I also have a dog/home sitting checklist for you to complete available on request.
A typical day
For super high energy pups, my preferred route is to walk from Admiral Junction to Alki Beach and back again, if time permits. At the very least, we'll get at least one healthy walk from Admiral to Alaska Junction and back again, with lots of opportunities for big sniffs and potty breaks. On nice days, you're likely to receive pics of your dog soaking up the sun on the beach, at Lincoln Park, or other fun spots around town! Tired and/or senior pups can expect some tender, loving care. I never say no to a cuddle, and all dogs are lap dogs to me!

Constant Care & Candid Moments
Pet care experience
TL;DR: Exceptional care, unforgettable moments captured and shared. I do stay in your home overnight. I prioritize patience. Minimum 2 photo/video updates daily. *please do not send service requests between 9pm-8am* Howdy! I'm a lifelong animal lover and pet enthusiast! When I first moved to Seattle from Colorado in 2018, I was immediately enamored with how dog-friendly this city is - so much so that I snagged a part time gig at a downtown dog daycare, and even did a short stint at a vets office in West Seattle! Before moving to Seattle, I volunteered as a pet foster for 4 years in Colorado. I have a well-rounded knowledge base on pet care - rest assured your precious pup is in good hands with me! As for cat care - I have been a lifelong feline lover and have plenty experience owning and fostering cats as well. No fur baby bias exists here! Oh, and if you're wondering: YES, I DO STAY in your home overnight, and the majority of the time you're gone. My rule of thumb is that I'm not typically gone for more than an hour at a time, rarely gone up to 4 hours, and anything that will require me to spend more than 4 hours away from your pet will be discussed ahead of time.

Reviews

Courtney took great care of our pets at our home while we were away! She communicated daily with helpful updates and photos/videos and promptly replied to communications. When we got home, we could tell the pets were happy and well taken care of with lots of pats and love while we were gone. We’d love to work with her again!

Courtney has looked after our home and furry family member on multiple occasions. My wife and I have full confidence in her. She is honest, reliable, and a great communicator. Our dog is a big Courtney fan and so are we. Thanks again Courtney!

Took great care of Blue and our home while we were away. Courtney is one of Blues favorite people, and Blue is picky!

Courtney was very communicative. She made it easy to enjoy our vacation because we knew that our dogs were having fun as well.
