As a work-from-home professional, my life revolves around my home environment, and to me, a house isn't truly a home without the pitter-patter of paws. Because I am home throughout the day, your dog will enjoy constant companionship, frequent potty breaks in my fenced grass backyard, and a calm atmosphere free from the chaos of children or loud noises. What sets me apart: Training Background: I’ve completed formal training with the "What a Great Dog" program. I understand canine body language and use positive reinforcement to ensure your pet feels secure and understood. Active Lifestyle: While I’m focused during the workday, my evenings and weekends are spent on the local trails. If your dog loves an adventure, they’ll have a dedicated hiking partner in me. A "Safe Haven" Environment: My home is a quiet, kid-free zone. This allows me to "meet your pet where they are at," whether they are a senior who needs a peaceful place to nap or a younger dog who needs structured play. Lifelong Experience: I have owned and cared for dogs since childhood. I treat every guest with the same love and attention I’ve given my own pets over the last 20+ years. Whether your dog needs a hiking buddy or a quiet spot to curl up under my desk while I work, I provide a safe, reliable, and loving transition while you’re away.

Courtney was extremely professional. My puppy Coco adores her. Courtney’s home is beautiful and she has lots of room for the dogs to play around. I love the fact that Courtney has a different variety of toys for the dogs to play with. I 100 percent recommend Courtney for your dogs day care!

So glad I find Courtney! She is so sweet and loving. My girl was very comfortable in her home. Her beautiful golden doodle and my girl had a great time playing together. Courtney kept me updated and took lots of pictures. Her place is beautiful and clean with nice front and back yard which is so nice. Such a relief knowing my fur baby is having fun in a loving home and being taken good care of. Will definitely have Courtney sit our girl again!

Courtney Volek is a focus driven leader who have been around dogs most her entire life. One of her early chores was to walk, feed and care for her family dogs as a child. After college Courtney continued her love of dogs by raising Lily, her goldendoodle. Courtney has a dog friendly home with a big back yard. She has an affection for dogs and provides respectful relationships with those she meets. I believe Courtney would be a perfect fit for Rover and those dogs associated with the company.

A Reliable Daily Rhythm Because I work from home full-time, your dog becomes a natural part of my daily flow. I provide a structured yet flexible environment that ensures they are never lonely. Morning (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM): We start the day with a long potty break and supervised playtime in my fenced, grassy backyard. This is followed by breakfast and some "zoomies" before I settle into my home office. The Work Day (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM): While I’m working, dogs usually love to snooze under my desk or on their favorite bed nearby. My schedule is highly flexible, allowing me to take "puppy breaks" between meetings for belly rubs, extra potty visits, or a quick game of fetch in the yard. Evening (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM): Once I "clock out," we head out for some fresh air! I love taking evening walks on local trails to burn off energy. Afterward, it’s time for dinner and some dedicated indoor playtime or cuddles. Bedtime: I follow your home’s specific routine to ensure a seamless transition, whether that’s a final outdoor stretch or settling into a crate/dog bed. Note on Flexibility: I know every dog is different! Whether your pup needs a mid-day walk or a specific feeding schedule, I am happy to alter my routine to meet their needs.

Your pet’s safety and emotional well-being are my top priorities. My home is set up to be a stress-free sanctuary where your dog is always supervised and secure. Secure Backyard: I have a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of grass for exploring. All outdoor time is supervised to ensure your dog is safe and having fun. A "Home Away From Home" Setup: To keep your pup comfortable, I ask that you provide their familiar crate, bedding, and favorite toys. Having their "own" things helps them settle in much faster! Crate-Friendly Environment: If your dog is crate-trained or needs a quiet space for meals and naps, I am happy to accommodate. I can easily utilize crates to provide a structured and safe environment when needed. Meeting Them Where They Are: Drawing on my training experience with "What a Great Dog," I am highly attentive to stress signals. I make sure to give every dog the space or the cuddles they need to feel at home. No Kids, No Chaos: My home is a kid-free environment, which is ideal for dogs that prefer a calm, predictable atmosphere.
