Courtney U., CPDT-KA Originally from Long Island, New York, I relocated to California in 2017 to pursue a career with Canine Companions. I train service dogs to enhance the lives of people with disabilities, and I am grateful that my path in life has led me to improving the lives of both dogs and their humans. I have loved dogs my entire life - my family's dogs, my friend's dogs, and now through my partnership with Rover, I get to love *your* dogs as well. All breeds, shapes, sizes, and personalities - you name it, I love them. I've had dogs my entire life (Maxie, boxer; Mya, shepherd mix; Coco and Bennie, Maltese siblings; and now currently Kiva, a Formosan Mountain Dog rescued from Taiwan, & Desmo, a boxer mix from New York) and I love caring for, working with, and training them. Kiva and Desmo are two of the most important parts of my life, and I understand that *your* dog is one of the most important parts of your life as well. It's my job to make your pet feel safe, loved, happy, and comfortable.

My background in professional dog training means that I understand each dog is a unique individual. If your dog is nervous around new people, easily excitable, or just a well-rounded lovebug, I will match your dog's energy and give them whatever they need to feel safe and comfortable with me.

As always, Courtney is amazing! She is our “Go-To.” We have a big strong Greater Swiss Mountain Dog who loves people and other dogs. Handling him requires competence and skill. We generally don’t feel comfortable leaving him in the care of other people. Courtney is UNIQUE! She is also amazing with the rest of our family (50-lbs Bernadoodle and our cat), and the crew is always happy and healthy when we get home. In addition, she produces the best montage vireos of our pets set to music. Seriously, these can’t be beat while away from home. Finally, Courtney is a very thoughtful and enjoyable person 🐶🐈❤️
Courtney was great, I knew I had the right person to take care of my 5 month old puppy, and home. She was punctual, professional and caring. She updated me frequently, and I was confident all was well while out of town. I will definitely hire Courtney the next time I need a sitter!
Courtney is fantastic in every way and everything. She has superb skills communicating, caring for, and working with dogs. Her joy in working with dogs is radiant. Courtney is smart, big-hearted, responsible, and talented, a very special person. The best present you can give to your dogs is to have them spend a day with Courtney.
Courtney is amazing! She makes getting away easy and relaxing knowing that our critters are in her care. Also, she makes the BEST happy dog videos of all time. Cannot recommend her more highly 🐶🐈❤️
We can't say enough about Courtney. She was great! She came and met us before we had to go out of town. She was so flexible with our emergency schedule changes. While we were gone she came to check on our 2 dogs a few times. We got videos and photos of them which just made us feel better. The dogs were happy and well looked after. We got text updates of how they were doing. I felt like she was really paying attention to them. We will use Courtney again.
Courtney is wonderful, reliable, and responsible. We valued her professionalism and ability ability to communicate. Not only was she responsive, but we regularly received updates and most important to us she asked questions when she had them. Our fur family was happy, healthy, and playful upon our return, and the house was as clean and in order as we left it. Thanks to Courtney, we feel comfortable and confident that we can relax when we get away. Have already booked again.

Schedule
** An important note regarding availability ** Because I work M - F, 8:00 - 5:00, during the work week I am available to visit your dog: - Before 8:00 am - Around 12:00 pm - After 5:30 pm On the weekends, I am available at any time at all! In general, I try to be as flexible as I can, so please don't hesitate to reach out with ideas even if your request doesn't align perfectly with the schedule above.
