My family always had many pets in the house. From a very early age I learned how to be nurturing, caring, and dependable. I work in the human services field aspiring to be a clinical social worker. My current job is in children services and case management. I consider myself a deeply caring individual that animals seem safe and calm to be around. Any and all ages of dogs and cats are welcome -- I will do everything I can to ensure your favorite companion is well taken care of!

We had some family visiting from out of town and needed someone to swing by to keep our dog Otis company while we were out, as he's been exhibiting some separation anxiety as of late. Courtney was communicative & flexible throughout our exchanges, and was really great with Otis. He got nervous when we were leaving but she was able to calm him down and hang with him until we got home a few hours later. Will definitely be using her services again!

Courtney responded promptly to my request on July 3rd. She was so kind and compassionate with my sensitive doggy. Lia has separation anxiety when she is with a new caretaker coupled with the fireworks on the 4th.. Courtney was so good to lia and helped her settle in and comforted her through her fears. Her photo updates throughout the visits were so reassuring for me. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I’m fully available on the weekends. I work 9-5pm so I can be flexible in the evenings for dog walking and drop-ins. Weekends and holidays!

Safety, trust & environment
I put your comapntion first, gauge their comfortability, and remain highly perceptive to behavior and environment. I have experience managing big dogs and puppies (100+) on leads, in highly populated areas (Downtown Brooklyn), and feel confident in my care-taking abilities. In the past I have babysat and nannied for children. In my current role I often have home visits with my families (many of which have various species of pets).
Pets
A typical day
I love takings dogs on walks, hiking, playing fetch, plus any other stimulating activities parents are ok with such as feeding puzzles, sensory stimulation etc. Similarly, with cats I will play with them, cuddle, and help keep them engaged.
