About Harley

He is goofy and good natured after you get to know him. He is a bit weary of strangers and he has a good sense about people. He loves running and playing fetch. My arm usually gets tired from throwing the ball before he gets tired of running! He is extremely clumsy and will trip over nothing as he walks across the living room. He is a high energy and high drive dog so we go for a run or a walk at least once a day. He doesn't snuggle much during the day because he is super go! go! go! but will snuggle you to death as it starts to get dark outside and we start to settle down for the night. He has so much personality and so much love to give! He loves to play and will get along very well with dogs who LOVE to play! He eats Acana dog food, he eats about 3 1/2 to 4 cups a day (it depends on how active we are that day) and it is split into two meals, one in the morning and one in the evening.

About Maxi

Maxi is my boyfriends dog. She is a good natured girl who LOVES to talk. She will whine or "talk" like huskies are known to do. She will play if you entice her to play but she mostly just loves laying on the couch or walking right on your heels (and I mean RIGHT on your heels. She steps on the back of mine all the time). She is SUPER food motivated. Your typical couch potato!

Special Requirements

She needs digestive enzymes because part of her pancreas doesn't work so she can't digest fats. I add those to bowl of food every meal and it has to sit for at least 20 minutes so it has time to start breaking down before I can feed it to her.
