Reactive dogs welcome!
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. My first job was cleaning up kennels for my local vet, mainly to see and pet dogs all day. As an adult I have adopted 3 very special dogs. My first was a very chill and dog friendly senior male, Benny. My second, an extremely human/dog/car reactive, borderline aggressive beauty, Petunia. And my current, slightly dog reactive southern charmer, Eggs Benedict. I’ve worked with a trainer for the last year and have learned some tricks to help with reactivity, but am in no way a trained professional. However, I do know how difficult it is to find someone to trust your reactive pup with. I’m here for you!

Courtney is a dog lover through and through, who has spent a lot of time learning about and working with dogs that are more challenging than others. She keeps them active and entertained while reinforcing good behavior along the way, and has the strength to manage large breeds without issue.
Courtney has taken care of our dogs more times than I can count. They absolutely love spending time with her. And we loved how friendly, responsive, and communicative she is. I trust her completely with my pet's care. She is the gold standard that I would hold other pet sitters to. And her own dog, Eggs Benedict, is the sweetest and most entertaining little love bug you have ever met, which is a testament to her excellent dog parenting skills. I can’t recommend Courtney ENOUGH as a dog walker and pet caregiver. She has a natural way with animals and is incredibly patient, attentive, and reliable. Every dog she cares for is treated with genuine love and respect. Courtney takes responsibility seriously, from sticking to routines to making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable on walks. She additionally is a great communicator and always helps pet owners feel confident their animals are in good hands.

Schedule
I’m currently working full time, Monday through Friday. I will be available Weds and Thurs afternoons/evenings and anytime on Saturday/Sunday until April/May. Will update availability once that changes.

Safety, trust & environment
Personally, my dog is ALWAYS leashed in my own yard and on every walk. I am not 100% comfortable with having a dog off leash, so if that is preferred for your pup, I’m not sure I’m the best fit for your needs. I follow directions well (food/meds/walking route/crating requirements) and respect dietary restrictions.
