I work from home, so once I'm done for the day I love taking Cole on walks around our neighborhood. I put treats in plastic Easter Eggs on Easter and have him go on a small Easter egg hunt in my living room; celebrate his birthday with pup cupcakes; and dress him up for Halloween.

Safety, trust & environment
Maggie was my "problem-child" because it took awhile to figure out which dog food works best with her due to her sensitive stomach and dog allergies. Therefore, if your per has similar special care, I will follow your instructions to a tee because I know, first-hand, how important it is to restrict certain foods from a pet to prevent any reactions.
Information Courtney M. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting for your pet, I would like to know how s/he is around new people and other dogs/cats. I would also like to know if the pet has any history of biting, scratching, or any other kind of aggressive behavior. Most importantly, I would want to know about the pet's diet and any dietary restrictions, as well as any medication that would need to be administered to the pet.
A typical day
I am an avid walker, so if you're dog is up for it, I'll take your dog on a 3 mile walk with me. I'll also play with your dog and their favorite toys. For cats, I will spend time playing with them and giving them lots of pets and nose boops.

Pet care experience
My family has had dogs ever since I was a young child. I grew up on a small farm with beef cattle, so I learned at a young age about responsibility and how to take care of animals from the dogs to the cows. Once I was on my own in 2012, I became a Pug Mom. I got my pug, Maggie, when she was a puppy. Then, late in 2013, I adopted an approximately 5 year old pug named Winston. In January 2021, I put Winston, down. He was 12 years old and his ability to walk had deteriorated. Maggie was an only fur child until I decided to adopt again in December 2023. I adopted another black pug named Cole, and he's approximately 4 years old. Cole is a bouncy ball of happiness. Most recently, I lost my baby girl Maggie in June 2025 at 13 years old after a month long battle with pancreatitis.

Reviews

Courtney did a great job watching both of my cats. She was great at communicating and taking pictures of them while I was away. My cats seemed very happy when I returned. She followed instructions well and let me know of any issues that occured. Would recommend and would rebook.

Courtney was very reliable! I will definitely reach out to her again in the future when I go out of town.

Courtney takes time and goes the extra mile. Thank you, Courtney!

Courtney was very conscientious and patient with my special needs dog. I would recommend her to any of my dog loving friends. And I would use her again, no question.
