Welcome! I have owned pets since I was 7 and have pet sat for friends, neighbors, co-workers for over 18 years. My fiancée and I have just moved to Blacksburg and are missing having a horde of our friends pets around us. When you book with me, you get a bonus sitter with my fiancée who also has 25+ years experience. We have mainly pet sat dogs and cats, but also have experience with birds, rats, mice, hedgehogs, ferrets, and horses. We know your pets are family, and are committed to providing the best care possible, and include regular updates with pictures.

Courtney & Kam were amazing! We had a super informative meet and greet in the beginning. They had my boy over Christmas and I got pictures every day. I could tell how happy he was there. When I picked him up, he was super happy to see me, but I could also tell he was kind of sad to leave them. They went on many hiking adventures and he came back just as clean. Courtney & Kam were super flexible with the time, especially when I had to extend my trip a couple days early. Overall, I would recommend them. I could tell they loved my pup with all their heart!! They were super professional and very kind. I also saw how well kept and nice their home was.

Schedule
I work from home Thursday and Friday and would love the opportunity to get to hang out with your pet(s). We enjoy hiking and walking, so if your pet enjoys those activities, we would love to take them out. Always down for a good couch potato day too. We are open to watching your pet(s) Wednesday night (4 PM or later) through Sunday night. If you have needs that exceed these days/times, feel free to reach out and we can attempt to work something out.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a single story living house with a deck, however, our large, unfenced backyard can be accessed by going downstairs or down a hill. If your pet has mobility issues, we are happy to carry outside if needed. Most of our surrounding neighbors have fenced backyards. Depending on your comfortability, we can provide supervised leashed or unleashed walks/yard time. Our house has lots of sun spots for catching rays and sploots.
A typical day
Depending on activities your pet likes to do, we could go on walks, hikes, play in the house/yard, or just cuddle on the couch and remind them you're not abandoning them :)
