Hi! We’re Courtney, Jack, and Gus a quiet, respectful little trio who love animals, nature, and a peaceful home. Gus is our incredibly well-behaved Blue Heeler. He’s calm, cuddly, silent, and happiest staying close by our side. He has lived comfortably with both cats and dogs and is gentle, curious, and easygoing around other animals. While he mostly enjoys doing his own thing, he will take a curious sniff and occasional playing with other dogs- though solo ball and sticks are his life’s work. We’re sober and non-smoking artists with an art studio in Oakland, CA. We live quietly and genuinely enjoy creating calm, clean, and cared-for spaces wherever we stay. In our free time we love traveling, camping, swimming, and hiking in nature. Courtney has been a nanny for 17 years taking care of kiddos, pets and keeping houses in order and both of us have managed a property together. We also have experience taking care of horses and chickens on farms. We are dreaming of being long term caretakers for someone’s land someday! As sitters, we’re dependable, communicative, and attentive to both pets and homes. We understand how important it is to leave your animals feeling safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, and we treat every home with the same care and respect we’d hope for ourselves. We’d love the opportunity to keep your pets company while giving you peace of mind during your travels.

Courtney has been dog sitting for me for over three years, and is my go to dog sitter when I need someone to watch my dog Lola! She has provided every kind of sitting service for me, both long and short periods as well as drop in visits, in home stays, and even bringing Lola with her to work and home (when possible). Courtney always makes sure to send pictures every time she sits to let me know how Lola is doing. Additionally, she has no problem administering medications and following strict dietary instructions. If you want a dog sitter who treats your fur baby like their own then Courtney is the sitter for you!
Courtney has taken wonderful care of my 2 dogs, a pug and a Boston terrier. She has done both drop in visits/walks, as well as stayed with them at my house for a week when we are out of town. She is very loving with the dogs, they are SO excited to see her every time she walks in the door. She always makes sure they are fed, walked, and happy. I would highly recommend Courtney to anyone who wants their fur babies to be loved and well taken care of.
Courtney was very attentive and loving with our dog, Dries. Her loving nature is really the best match we could have ever asked for in a sitter. She even watered our plants! We’ll definitely be using Courtney again. Thanks!
Courtney took amazing care of our brand new 7 week and 2 year old coonhounds! She was loving and responsible to the pups and our home! The pups bonded and loved her as well. She is our first choice in the care of our fur-babies!
