Animal lover and reliable sitter
I’ve taken care of pets and animals all my life! I know how important it is to have a good caretaker for your pets and would love to help how I can. I grew up with Goldens, turtles, and hamsters and even had a small pet sitting service in my neighborhood as a little girl. Now I work in wildlife conservation and eco-tourism so I’ve spent a lot of time caretaking all different types of animals from sea turtles to kangaroos! In regards to pet sitting, I have taken care of just about every kind - dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, Guinea pigs, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats, turkeys, turtles, ducks, and pigs! I am up for any challenge and have even had a pet sitting job to house train a pig and walk a couple of donkeys. I love getting to know all sorts of animals and would love to help you with yours!

We have left the animals of our farm in Courtney's care. They include a dog, 2 cats and several chickens. She's been great, giving tons of individual care to each animal. You can tell when you watch her interacting with your pets how much she loves animals. She's very organized and responsible. We have complete confidence that our farm is in good hands with Courtney.
I can not think of a person I would rather have watch my animals. Courtney has watched my dog and two rabbits on various occasions for extended periods of time. I have always returned to them as happy and healthy as I left them (maybe even happier). There was an instance where one of my bunnies had a medical emergency when I had to go to work, Courtney was able to step in at the last minute and not only take her to the vet, but wait with her for hours until I could get off work. She truly cares about the animals and you can tell they love her back!

Schedule
Pet sitting is my full-time job while living in the Outer Banks. My husband and I travel abroad for most of the year and come home to OBX each fall and winter to visit family and friends. Watching your pets is my top priority. I have a lot of flexibility and can make your normal routine work while you’re away!
