Dog Care by a Telecommuter
My family and I have taken care of dogs and cats for years. We also have our own small Pomeranian who is happy and healthy. My husband and I both telecommute full time. My mom also lives next door. So there is basically someone home almost always. We are home in the evenings thanks to having two small kids (6&9) We usually go out to parks and outdoor restaurants on the weekends where we can take our dog with us. I have a fenced yard and our 4 year old (spayed) Pomeranian - Cookie - who loves a good play-pal. Cookie sleeps in a crate at night so I can easily do the same for your doggo. They can even have their own room if you prefer! We treat our dog as part of the family-she can hang on our couch and lounge with us - and yours would be treated no differently! My kids are very chill and know how to gently interact with animals very well. As for cats, we love them too! We’ve had cats in the past and my daughter and I especially love their little personalities and cute faces. Cookie has been around cats too so she will try to play but back off if she gets rejected

They are just the best! Our little puppy was scheduled to be with them for a week and I could tell he had such a great time! Our flight home was cancelled and luckily they were able to accommodate the additional night. 5 stars isn't enough to express how wonderful Jeremy and Courtney are.

Schedule
My schedule is super flexible so its pretty easy to stick to whatever routine your dog is used to at home. We are not heavily scheduled on the weekends either other than maybe having a soccer game to go to.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard with no gaps or ways to get out onto the street. We have baby gates we can put up in our house too if your dog likes to bolt for the front door when it opens.

A typical day
I typically walk my dog about a half mile to a mile every mid-morning.Several times a week, we also go over to our neighborhood park in the afternoons when my kids get home from school.
