I currently work with the local school district from 7:30AM–2PM, which means my mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends are wide open for pet care! Caring for animals fits perfectly into my daily routine, before and after school, I’m walking pups, doing drop-ins, or checking on my furry and scaly clients. Pet care is something I truly love, so even on busy days, I make sure every pet gets the attention and affection they deserve.

I prefer caring for pets in their own home, where they feel safest and most comfortable. This lets them relax in their familiar spaces, their favorite spots to nap, play, and eat while getting used to having me as a friendly new visitor. While I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect and care. I always double check that doors, gates, and fences are secure to prevent any chance of escape, and I make sure collars, harnesses, and leashes fit properly before walks. You can trust that your pets will get lots of love, attention, and gentle spoiling (if allowed!). If your pet uses a crate, I’ll make sure it’s clean, cozy, and that they’re completely comfortable before resting. Your pets’ safety and happiness are always my top priorities. 🐾

Some helpful things to know include: 🐾 Any behaviors I should look out for (chewing furniture, getting into trash, drinking from the toilet, wiping on carpet, etc.) 🚪 Whether they ever try to escape or dash out doors 🦴 Which commands they know (sit, stay, come, leave it, etc.) 🐕 If they’re comfortable walking near other dogs or prefer space 🐶 Any signs of separation anxiety or triggers that cause stress 🩺 Any medical issues, allergies, or medications they need 🥣 If they have a special diet or feeding schedule 💩 Potty routine and cleanup preferences The more I know, the better I can make sure your pets stay happy, healthy, and comfortable while you’re away!
A typical day
If the owner allows, I love taking dogs to the dog park or on nice walks to help them burn off energy and socialize safely. I enjoy playing fetch, tug-of-war, and practicing basic commands during playtime to keep their minds active and tails wagging! For kitties, I love interactive play with their favorite toys, feather wands, laser pointers, or anything that makes them pounce with excitement. It brings me so much joy to see them having fun and feeling loved. For small pets like rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and others, I offer gentle interaction, supervised playtime in safe spaces, and enrichment toys to keep them stimulated and happy. For reptiles, I am happy to provide enrichment and calm interaction, whether that means supervised exploring time (if appropriate), misting/humidity checks, or simply ensuring their habitat is clean, comfortable, and properly cared for according to their routine. Every animal deserves fun, comfort, and attention in a way that fits their personality and needs, and I love learning each pet’s favorite activities. 🐾💛
