Pet sitting fits well into my schedule and I am able to accomodate last minute bookings when required. I can easily fit bookings into obscure times such as late evenings and weekends.

I love to ensure that pets are happy and taken care of and feel safe in their own environment. I have a dog of my own who is quite difficult so I know the reassurance it gives me to have him looked after in his own house when I am away. And I want to make other pet owners feel the same so they can go on holidays or to work and not worry that their pet is unhappy or stressed. For clarity, my house sitting appointments cover short toilet walks. A longer walk will incur the normal charge on top. During house/dog sitting I will be at your house with your dog or cat for 90% of the time, with me occasionally popping out for refreshments and to run short errands or to check on my son.

If your dog has any triggers, is nervous or easily scared. Or can sometimes be aggressive in different scenarios please let me know ahead of time so I can work with them to make their time with me stress free.
A typical day
I love giving dogs lots of treats and affection as well as space when they need it. Lots of long walks but leaving them to sniff for as long as they want during a walk, even if this means we only walk 500 metres in ten mins! Sniffing is so important and tires them out as much as physical activity so I like to make sure they're free to do this. I don't let dogs off lead unless I am in a secure compound.

I have been a military dog handler for the RAF for the past 7 years. And have experience dealing with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments.

Courtney has walked our dog since he was a puppy. She makes sure that we are at ease when she takes him out and he always comes back clean and happy. He gets super excited whenever she turns up because he knows he's going to have the best time on his walk!
