Furbabies are Family Too

If you request a pickup/dropoff, please meet me in your driveway. Due to my teaching schedule M-F pickups must be after 5:00 p.m., drop offs have to be before 7:15 a.m. My Puppy rate is not based on dog age, and is subjected to change based on the needs of your dog at the time of their stay. However, I rarely watch dogs under the age of 2 yrs. Please list any other animals as cats (reptiles, rodents, etc...) I will adjust the price per animals and needs. Military Discount - if you are being deployed and need an extended stay, please let me know! I have been a dog-owner and lover since I was a little girl. I've had large dogs (labs and retriever mix breeds), medium dog (spaniels), and small/toy dogs (miniature pinschers and mixes). Dogs are welcome in a my 3-bedroom home and even allowed on most of my furniture. My home is all tile, so any accidents will easily be cleaned up. I care about animals as much as I care about the children I teach. They are important to our humanity and need love and care as much as anyone. I am flexible with your dogs medical needs and training. I love spoiling furbabies, but don't worry, they won't be fattened up or have a set back on their training. Dogs will enjoy my nice fenced in back yard with it's lush green grass and I'll even pull out a kiddie pool if your dogs needs to cool off or likes to play in the water! Notice - since I am a teacher, I only offer Doggy Daycare during the summer months. My hours for pickup and drop offs are limited M-F.

Courtney is the absolute best there is when it comes to Rover. She’s been our go to sitter for years and our dog loves his getaways to her house lol. 10/10 recommend!!

Courtney is so easy to work with and loves in our Winston as her own. I know our boy is in great hands when he is with her. She sends pictures and updates to show he is comfortable. She is our go to sitter when we go out of town.

Schedule

I am a teacher, so I wake up early to make sure your babies go outside. I will immediately let them out when I return from home. I usually leave the back door open so they may go in and out when I am home.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I prefer all dogs to be crate trained. (I know some senior dogs do not need their crate) When I am not home, they are crated (or pinned in an area) for their safety. When I am home, the back door is left open to my fenced in yard for your furbaby to go in and out all they want as long as the weather permits.

A typical day

We can round the neighborhood and in the grassy breezeway in the middle of the neighborhood circle. Plus, lots of yard playtime. Bring your pups' favorite toys for me to throw and play tug-o-war with them!

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Courtney can host up to 2 pets per night
All new clients will receive a questionnaire before I accept your stay. A meet and greet is a must so we can see if your dog will adapt to my home well and get along with my dog, for the safety of both. Please do not bring your children to the meet & greet nor the drop off/pick up. I like to know as much about your dog as you want to share. Be blunt with me, I'll be better prepared for their needs. What time do they like to eat, how much, and how often. What kind of treats do you allow? Any allergies? (Food or skin) Any bladder issues (like pees when nervous) Food/toy/bed area aggressive? How is your dog with loud noises like lightening? Favorite toy or activity? What gets them excited and want to play? I understand dogs have personalities and some may have had a bad life before you adopted them. Just be straight forward with me on their negative issues, so I am properly prepared. I've worked with dogs with aggressive behavior over food, toys, etc... O was well prepared.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
