Hi there, I'm Courtney! My love and compassion for animals is a central part of my identity. Rover is my full-time job right now and earning your pet’s trust is my top priority. I have a very friendly pug named Olive and an energetic dalmatian named Phoebe. They have both taken puppy classes and LOVE meeting new dogs! If you're looking for an active and playful dog-sitter, I'm your gal. My husband and I live near a long walking trail and have a fenced backyard to play fetch in. I worked as a veterinary kennel assistant for a year and have great insight when it comes to your fur babies. I take pet-sitting very seriously and promise to provide exceptional care for your dogs. If your pet has special preferences, rest assured that I will accommodate their needs. I'll also send updates and pictures for your peace of mind. My business has always revolved around helping dogs feel welcome and at ease during our time together. Care is highly personalized for every client. I go above and beyond for each animal- truly. Here are a few things I’ve done that set me apart from other Rover sitters: - always prioritizing safety, supervision, and professional communication with pet parents -preparing specialized meals for picky eaters - hand feeding nervous dogs in a private room to feel comfortable eating here - playing calm piano music to sooth anxious dogs to sleep (it works!) - giving free baths to keep dogs happy and healthy after muddy play sessions in the backyard - utilizing aromatherapy to help ease stressful separations - applying ointments to hot spots, rashes, etc. - taking sick pets to the vet on their owner’s behalf - administering medications, pills, etc. - coordinating pick ups and drop offs with other family members or friends of the family - providing clean blankets, toys, bowls, and supplies - utilizing our guest kennel to create a den for dogs who need a private place to unwind - keeping owners in the loop with highly detailed updates, including daily photos and videos - and so much more! Can’t rave about Courtney enough! She’s taken wonderful care or our first boy, Gus, before and took the time to make our newest pup comfortable as well. Will always trust her with care when we need it 💙
Courtney has cared for Gus in the past and we trust he’s in good hands. A daycare visit to introduce our newer pup Slinky was the best idea. Courtney took her time with Slinky to be sure he grew more comfortable and I’m so impressed and appreciative! We know both boys will have a great time on longer stays 💙
Courtney is amazing! My dog Poppy loves her and her dogs! She is so attentive, super easy to communicate with and is just a wonderful care giver for my rambunctious dog :) so grateful for her!!!!
Courtney took great care of our golden! He loves playing with Phoebe and Olive. She is very conscientious and sends lots of pictures which I love!
My dog Zuko loved staying with Courtney for almost a week while my husband and I were on a trip. Courtney sent daily photos and videos, which let me see that Zuko was getting more and more comfortable each day - to the point where he was snuggling up with her on the sofa! When Zuko had a slight issue on his paw Courtney was quick to let me know and had some ointment on hand to make sure he healed up quickly. He needed medication on one of the days he stayed with her and she was great at communicating to me when she had given it to him. Overall Zuko and I are very happy with Courtney, and I will definitely book all of Zuko's boarding with her from now on!
Courtney was awesome with my cavalier (who can be a handful! Puppy-ish)! She sent pics and kept me updated daily on how he was doing- always fun! She is clean, attentive and sweet, definitely a dog lover - she has two of her own and they liked my guy too!! I highly recommend her!!

Schedule
My husband and I are both home full-time and love being a safe haven for dogs who need a comfortable home while their families are away. Please know that your pet will receive lots of snuggles, play time, and opportunities to go outside!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced backyard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. All doggy interactions are supervised to ensure the safety of everyone involved. We also have a large kennel here that Rover clients are free to use if their dog prefers personal space during their stay.
Pets
A typical day
We will keep your pet busy with a basket full of dog toys, a puppy pool on hot summer days, and play time in the backyard- not to mention endless couch cuddles and daily tummy rubs. My husband and I also take walks with our two dogs and Rover clients (weather permitting).
