I work close by and usually don’t work more than 5 hours at a time. If I do work longer I come home on my break to let them out. I have 2 dogs at home that need taking care of so I’m around. The most they would be alone is 4-5 hours.

I have a big house and a fenced in yard so there’s lots of room to run and play. I have 2 dogs of my own..Biggie-a lab puppy who is full of energy and Prince-a King Charles cavalier who is older and really mellow and loves to cuddle. They both love to play fetch and are always racing each other. I have a 4 year old son in the house so dogs MUST be good with kids. Biggie stays in a crate when I’m gone because he gets into puppy mischief still but Prince is out all the time. They are allowed on certain furniture (it used to be on all but right now their shedding is too much for the couch- even with brushing them all the time) There’s a dog park down the street that we go to often and hiking trails nearby. I have a pool if your dogs like to swim (one of mine loves it-the other not so much lol). You’re dog(s) will love it here!

I like to know what the routine is like at home. What time they usually get up. Where they normally sleep and when and how much they eat. I like to know their personality- if they like to play a lot or if they would rather chill and cuddle.
A typical day
We go to the dog park or to the woods to go on hiking trails (if not too muddy) or the dogs love to just walk around the neighborhood and sniff everything.

Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs my entire life. I’m always taking care of friends and families pets while they’re gone and we love the company! We are always meeting new doggy friends everywhere we go- even when our dogs aren’t with us. I have had many puppies so am very patient and work at training and get if at home you don’t let your dogs on the furniture I won’t let them on mine and will be consistent with what you do. I’m good with giving medicine if needed as well.

Our chocolate lab enjoyed his stay with Courtney and her family. The fenced back yard was ideal for playing fetch. He loved his walks. The weather wasn't good during our time away and she still made it a point to find time to walk him. It was also nice to get photos while in her care. Thank you, Courtney.
Our dog Chewie had a great time with Courtney and her family! She stayed in touch with us while we were gone with lots of pictures of Chewie playing with his new friends!
