Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially in the afternoons and evenings. I am currently available starting at 8am on weekdays, as well as weekends, which allows me to provide consistent and attentive care during those day. I am a mom to a toddler, so communication is important to discuss flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and extended care. I prioritize reliability and routine, ensuring all visits, walks, and medication schedules are followed closely.

Safety, trust & environment

At this time, I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes to ensure pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment and routines. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize consistency, safety, and attention to detail. I follow all feeding, walking, playtime, and medication schedules closely, and I take time to understand each pet’s individual personality and needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or requires special care, I adjust my approach to make them feel secure and stress-free. I also treat every home with the same respect and care as my own, keeping things clean, secure, and well-maintained while you’re away. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind. My goal is to make your time away as easy as possible for both you and your pet by providing reliable, compassionate, and attentive in-home care.

Information Courtney F. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a pet, I like to get a good understanding of their routine, personality, and any specific needs. Every pet is different, and the more I know ahead of time, the more comfortable and stress-free I can make their experience. I always ask about feeding schedules, medications, and any health concerns, as well as things like energy level, personality, and any quirks (I know every pet has them!). It’s also helpful to know about leash behavior, training cues, and how they do with other people or animals. For safety, I like to know about boundaries in the home, any escape tendencies, and who to contact in case of an emergency, including your veterinarian. My goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while keeping their routine consistent and their environment safe and calm.

A typical day

Aside from walks, fetch, or physical play, I enjoy incorporating enrichment and mental stimulation into pet care to keep them happy and engaged. This can include things like sniffing games, lick mats, interactive play, and exercise depending on each pet’s energy level and needs. I adjust activities based on the individual pet, whether they need more exercise, something mentally engaging, or just a calmer environment. My goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, stimulated, and well cared for while you’re away.

Experienced Pet Mom

Pet care experience

I’m a dedicated animal lover and experienced caregiver with a lifelong background in working with pets. As a homeowner and mom to a toddler, a German Shepherd mix, and two cats, I understand the importance of respect, safety, and attentive care in a home environment. I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life, including large and high-energy breeds like Great Pyrenees and Malamutes. I also have hands-on experience working at multiple doggy daycares, where I learned how to handle dogs of all temperaments, sizes, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with walking, playtime, basic training, and administering medications. At home, I care for a senior epileptic cat and a dog who both require daily medication, so I’m very familiar with keeping consistent routines and providing care for pets with special needs. I’ve also trained my own dogs over the years and continue to reinforce structure and good behavior. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for amphibians, reptiles, and previously had chickens, so I’m comfortable with a variety of animals and their different care needs. I’m currently pursuing a degree in biology, which helps me better understand animal health and behavior. Above all, I truly love animals and prioritize their happiness, safety, and comfort in everything I do.

I used Cortney last year when I went on vacation to take care of my dogs, chickens and quail. She did such an amazing job! They weren’t just well taken care of but spoiled! Will be using her again this year for both our vacations!

I sometimes have to work long hours so I hired Courtney to walk and dog sit my 2 Springer Spaniels. She was wonderful with the dogs, and was very reliable. The dogs are more excited to see Courtney now than they are to see me.

As not just a pet owner but also the Canine Program Director for a non profit animal rescue I am VERY picky about who I trust to care for my animals! Courtney is amazing and has such a wide range of animals she’s worked with, from dogs & cats, to reptiles amphibians & even livestock! She is experienced in so many aspects of animal care from intros, to home training methods, & medication management! But MOST importantly Courtney has the love in her heart for animals that you just can’t teach or learn from experience there’s a special kind of person who’s meant to have and or work with animals and she’s one of them !! We are SO SAD we no longer live nearby or we would continue to use her services for our own pets but we are so excited for her to share her talents and her love with more families and fur babies !!
