I am a primary school teacher. Term time - I will available weekdays (evenings) and weekends (daytime/late afternoon). School holidays - I will have more flexibility. So please message to check availability as it might be possible. I currently to not have a pet in my home. I help with walking my mum’s dog (Doberman) when needed.

I can work with the owner with what best works for them and their schedule. I am happy to go into their home to collect the dog if they are out or at work. Or if they would like me to meet and greet at the door that is perfect also!

Please let me know about your dog before the walk. I’d like to know preferences, needs and musts, to ensure the dog has a happy and safe walk. Can they socialise with other dogs? Are they affected by any particular sounds or movements? Do they have recall? If so, would you like them to be on or off lead during parts of the walk? Do they have any allergies? Would you like them to fetch a ball? I use a chucker and tennis balls. Do you prefer them to be walked on the pavement or grassy areas? Does the dog wear a muzzle?
A typical day
I will take the dog/dogs where they are used to walking or if they are open to visiting new places. I will run or walk with your dog. If you’d like your dog to fetch a ball or socialise I am happy with either. I will interact with your dog during the walk, praising them for good behaviours and showing them love and care. I can walk up to 2 dogs at a time, depending on the size of the dog.

I have years experience with training medium/large breed of dog - fetch with a ball, sit, stay, heel etc. Enjoy walking through parks, woodlands, seafront and beaches in ALL weathers. Experienced with running with dogs and using the running lead. Understand that transparency between myself and the owner is key to ensure the dog is happy and needs of the dog are met. Happy to support the owner if the dog/puppy is in training. Good knowledge of a range of breeds and their temperament.

Hi everyone Courtney is an experienced dog owner having 10 years with two Dobermans. From the puppy stage to adult she knows how to train and connect with a dog and when walking her Doberman is responsible around other dog walkers giving them space. Courtney’s fitness levels are good so long dog walks are not a problem or ball runs. Courtney’s personally is friendly and caring being a school teacher she has the ability to be firm but fair and doesn’t give up easily your dog will have a great time with Courtney
