Pet care experience

Vet-tech pet sitter you can trust

Hi there! I’m your dog’s new best friend 🐾 With a background in veterinary medicine, I bring both lots of love and professional know-how to every pup I care for. Whether your dog is full of energy, a couch cuddler, or needs a little extra medical attention, I’ve got it covered. I’m comfortable with medications, special care routines, and reading your pup’s signals to keep them happy and healthy. Expect plenty of tail wags, belly rubs, and photo updates while you’re away! I treat every dog like family—so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in safe, loving hands. 💛

I dropped my dog Kyloh off with Courtney and she went above and beyond! Truly the best sitter I’ve had for him and will definitely be going back to her when I travel back up. Thanks again!

Schedule

Whether I’m at home or caring for pets professionally, I stay hands-on and engaged. I make sure animals feel safe, enriched, and cared for through attention, structure, and affection. For me, pet care isn’t just a task—it’s something I naturally incorporate into how I move through my day.

Safety, trust & environment

in my home and in my clients’ homes, I provide care that is consistent, attentive, and tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I always prioritize keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest. With my veterinary medicine background, I’m confident handling a wide range of needs such as administering medications, monitoring behavior and health changes, and responding calmly in any unexpected situations. I pay close attention to each pet’s body language and comfort level so they feel safe and understood. In a client’s home, I respect their space while making sure their pet feels secure in their familiar environment. In my own home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly space with supervision, enrichment, and plenty of affection. No matter the setting, I treat every pet like family and keep owners updated with messages, photos, and reassurance while they’re away.

Pets

A typical day

I love making sure pets feel happy, engaged, and at home while they’re with me—so I tailor activities to each pet’s personality, age, and energy level. A typical day might include a mix of fun, comfort, and enrichment like: Walks and outdoor time (from relaxed sniff walks to more active play, depending on the dog) Play sessions with toys, fetch, tug-of-war, or laser play for cats Mental enrichment like treat puzzles, basic training games, or hide-and-seek Lots of cuddle time and attention for pets who love affection Calm downtime with cozy spaces for naps and relaxation Light grooming like brushing if they enjoy it With my vet med background, I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and energy levels, making sure activities are safe, appropriate, and never overwhelming. My goal is to keep them not just entertained—but comfortable, stimulated, and genuinely happy while you’re away.

To give your pet the best care possible, I like to learn their routine, personality, and any special needs ahead of time. A quick meet & greet and good communication help make everything smooth and stress-free for everyone Here are a few things that really help me, help your pet. Daily routine (feeding times, potty schedule, walks) Temperament & personality (shy, energetic, anxious, cuddly, etc.) Medical needs (medications, allergies, vet info) Behavior quirks (separation anxiety, reactivity, escape habits) Social preferences (how they do with other pets, kids, strangers) Favorite things (toys, treats, activities they love) Training & house rules (crate training, commands, furniture rules) Emergency contacts (just in case) The more I know, the better I can keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy—just like you would at home 💛
